The scent is nice, however, the formula is very watery and drying to the hair. I have an extremely oily scalp so I was looking for a deep cleanse shampoo, but when I am done using it, it feels like my roots were soaked in rubbing alcohol. From my experience, I would not recommend this

This shampoo and conditioner set has left my upper neck and back of my head covered in pimple-like sores. This was the only new thing in my daily routine and has sadly made me super self conscious.

This formula change is really disappointing and definitely not worth the extra price point! My husband has been breaking out on his scalp and neck (which doesn’t make sense if one of the ingredients is salicylic acid) and my ends feel dry and straw like. For context my husband has relatively short hair and mine is waist length.

Made my scalp itch so bad that I ended up with sores in my head. I bought 3 bottles hoping for it to be amazing and it’s been horrible

I tend to have oily hair and have been dealing with build up for a while now. I finally tried this shampoo and am amazed and the difference at a very reasonable price. I haven’t noticed a difference in my color either, but I haven’t been using it for very long.

Left my roots an oily mess within 10 hours, and my hair felt like plastic in the shower after using the shampoo and conditioner. I'm so upset because this is seemingly L'Oreal's new oily roots solution, since they discontinued the Extraordinary Clay line which was the only shampoo that worked for my roots. Oily root girls that wash daily, this isn't your solution unfortunately.

I don’t believe a single review that claims this formula is actually doing anything beneficial to their hair. This stuff is TERRIBLE and if you already have issues with oily hair, this will exacerbate the problem. I can normally go 4 days between washes, and when using this product, it feels disgusting on day two. Switching immediately.

This shampoo was amazing for the first month. I have very oily roots and thin hair that’s colored. It controlled the oil, left my hair shiny, and moisturized. But now that I’ve been using it consistently for 3-4 months, it stopped controlling the grease and is way worse! My hair is immediately greasy after washing and blow drying which never happened before. Definitely will be switching!

If I could give it zero stars I would. I always used the rebalancing clay shampoo. It’s gone now so I thought this may be the next best thing. My forehead and back are now break out from using this shampoo. My hair is more oily than before.

I used this once and I liked the results. I had minimal oil in my hair 2 days after I washed it. My problem is the scent. Omg, please tone the scent down. It triggered my migraine disorder for three days because the scent is so strong. Three days after washing my hair, I could still smell it as strong as when it was wet.

This product doesnt even deserve 1 star. I brought this shampoo and conditioner maybe 3-4 weeks ago because i wanted to try something new, i used it for 2 days (i wash my hair every other day) and then i noticed my hair was even more greasy then usual. i usually lose a lot of hair in the shower (for reference, i have long straight asian virgin hair, and i dont put in any products in my hair either then the shampoo and conditioner i buy, my diet hasnt changed at all, and i dont take any supplements) but when i started using this specific shampoo and conditioner, i was losing 10x more hair then usual. I stopped using it after i noticed that and remember i only used this 2 times so i thought oh maybe my hair will stop falling after a week. Its been nearly a month. A MONTH. My hair is still falling out like crazy (not even breakage its just straight up falling out from my roots. PS, i dont brush my hair when its wet either), about 10x more it would normally before i started using this stupid shampoo bro like im actually so mad i dont know what to do either because im scared. I used to use the lorel elvive dream lengths shampoo and conditioner combo before i brought this one to and it worked good for my hair, no hair products ive ever used have made my hair fall out nearly as much as this one did. Im mad with this product tho ive been growing my hair for nearly 4 years and its to my butt but now its visibly thin and uneven due to how much hair this product has taken from me. i thought it wouldve been good but this was a waste of $10.

Doesnt give you a clean feeling . There are better options out there

The second ingredient sodium laureth sulfate why do they ruin a great shampoo with sulfates? And the only great ingredients are the three last ones which means there are so minimal amounts of it in here It wouldn't do you any good. I wouldn't bother purchasing this. If people think it's doing them any good it's all in your head.

This is absoluting the BEST shampoo I have ever used!! I have had oily skin & hair my entire life and I'm in my sixties. I have always been able to control the oil on my face with Salicylic Acid but there has been never been anything like this for the hair. This product does what is says! My hair is not oily the next day and it has beautiful shine and body. It does not dry out the hair whatsoever and I have color treated hair!! I have never found anything in the high end salons like this. Please do not change the formula or ever discontinue!! You have a real winner with this product (I also use the conditioner).

I bought this with my own money because I have fine hair that gets greasy very quickly. It was growing in popularity and selling out, so I hopped on the bandwagon and tried it. I have now been using for two months and am very disappointed. At first, it did what it was supposed to do. My hair was still frizzy which was bothersome, but it didn’t get greasy any quicker than usual. After a couple of months of use, I can say my hair gets visibly greasier MUCH quicker than normal. I wash my hair at night time, and by lunch the next day my hair needed dry shampoo. My hair has never been this greasy in my life and I really wish this shampoo and conditioner worked for me because it smells amazing. I am now searching for a clarifying shampoo, as I’m assuming that’s what my hair needs as this shampoo and conditioner has somehow increased my hair’s greasiness.

It's not terrible, but it's a poor substitute for the discontinued clay rebalancing shampoo. :(

This shampoo does not work at all. Why did they discontinue the clay line? For hubdreds of us it was the only shampoo that controlled the oil but also kept our ends from drying out. I have not been able to find any replacement

I was so excited to try this shampoo for my straight, fine, but abundant hair, because my ends are dry, especially in winter but my scalp is oily. After a week of daily use, I'm disappointed. I feel my roots are even more oily by the end of the day. I wish I could return this.

Thank you Loreal,for the hyaluron pure purifying shampoo and conditioner,every shampoo and conditioner i try makes my hair waxy feeling or greasy,with hyaluron pure purifying shampoo and conditioner that doesn't happen,in fact this is the first time in my life that i didn't have to use conditioner,the hyaluron pure purifying shampoo makes my hair so silky soft alone.It smell's so good and the smell last and last.Thank you please don't change your formula everyone else seems to change there products formula and it's never the same,your formula is perfect for my hair.

I have been waiting so long for a company to make an affordable shampoo with with salicylic acid. I have always had really oily hair. Since childhood. I absolutely have to wash may hair ever single day because by the end of the day I look like I havent even showered. I am just one of those people who has extremely oily skin and hair. This shampoo is fantastic. Only after a few uses I have been going through a whole day and waking up the next day with hair that's just as clean feeling as just washed. I'm amazed. Also, it does this while still leaving my hair soft. I can get away with brushing through it easily without using conditioner even. Never ever ever discontinue this product please! I love this shampoo!
