Have to be careful finding use too much and sometimes I get my scalp but can move hair around and brush it etc. washed out easily too.

The nozzle is precise, but some spatters might travel far, so watch out your clothes and walls. The dark blonde color is very neutral and flattering. It looks really natural.

I am a long time user of Root Coverup to get me through the weeks before my next color. I would recommend selecting one shade lighter because the color is much darker than expected. The medium brown shows up a dark brown. The color lasts much longer than cover up powder and will stay on until the next shampoo. Although it’s difficult to hit the right spots, i just spray a general area and use my fingers to spread it around before it dries.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] L'oreal Magic Root Cover Up does a great job of covering gray! It takes some practice to get it on just right. I added a video showing how the product goes on. To avoid having it on my face, I sprayed a little closer to my hair. I used my brush to help blend it in. It didn't take very long. I usually have roots within 2-3 weeks after coloring, and I don't want to color more often, so this is a great way to cover gray without having to dye so often. It lasted until I washed it again. It is a little on the messy side, but it is easy to wash off hands and surfaces should it end up on them. It has a pleasant scent that is very subtle. I will use this on a regular basis from now on.

I do suggest picking a shade lighter than you think you need-these always have a tendency to look darker. It’s easy to use-have to spray closer than it states, but the coverage is great! Little to no scent.

I’ve ruined two shirts using this product. So, when I got the offer to try it again through Influenster, I grabbed it to see if it was just the can that I had purchased in the store. Nope. This one splatters as well. I have learned my lesson - I will continue to use this product, because I do like what it does, but I now wrap a large towel around my shoulders to catch any drips. Love the product (5 stars), but only gave 4 because of the drips.

I did not like how fast it sprays out & the product color was a lot darker than I imagined…considering I had asked for light brown coverage. It’s a very dark brown. The color will leave dark blotches on your scalp if you’re not careful when applying it to the root. The smell of the product is not bad. I don’t know that I would recommend this product as it is.
