I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but I just need people to know that this product is NOT worth the money. It pills horribly—seriously, I have no idea how this product even passed testing and was released to the public. No matter if I put it on over my other skincare products or on a completely bare face, it pills into little strings and essentially rolls off my face. The white cast is also horrific. My skin is quite pale and it still leaves a cast on me—now imagine this on someone with darker skin! Finally, I got this sunscreen because it’s supposed to be good for people with oily skin, but I find the formula way too thick and greasy feeling on my skin. I wish I had returned it when I got the chance, but I decided to give it some time. Really regret this purchase. I’ll be sticking to Korean chemical sunscreens in the future.

Left a rash on my cheeks and entire face feels itchy. I don't typically have sensitive skin, quite the contrary I've always had good skin so I don't see how this could possibly be made for sensitive skin.

I typically love this brand, but that was not the case with this product. I gave it an honest chance and used it for a few weeks with varying amounts/techniques to try to make myself like it and that never happened. This sunscreen looks very streaky when you apply it and it pills SO bad when you try to rub it in to get rid of the streaks. Because of this, it does not wear well under make up (or even without make up). I feel like it can’t possibly be effective as sunscreen due to how bad it pills when you try to blend because it seems like it takes most of it off. I bought this on a whim because it was spf 60 and didn’t check the reviews first and boy do I regret it because it is not cheap.

This is the first sunscreen I have found that I love!!! I do not like shiny, oily sunscreen. This one, Dry Touch, is so much better for me!! It disappears on my skin and leaves a nice dry touch smooth finish. The sunscreen that you love is the one you will use everyday and I do!!!
Non sticky and broad spectrum. Works like a charm

One of my favorite chemicql sunscreen. It is broad spectrum and higher on SPF. It has thick texture but still feels very light weight on skin and gets absorbed into skin no time and leaves no white cast. That being said i have only used this in winter, so it’s sticky formula works great on dry skin but for summer it might be different given skin tent to get oily in summer. But for people out there with dry skin, totally recommend it. Go for it.

I love this product! My skin stays shine-free even at the end of the day, and I don't get breakouts anymore. The only thing I don't like is that I have to remove it from my eyebrows after applying it. I'm surprised by the negative reviews. I think there's a specific technique to using this product. I clean and dry my face, apply the sunscreen, wash my hands, and then apply a moisturizer. If I don't wash my hands before putting on the moisturizer, the sunscreen will pill up—no idea why. Since it's a chemical sunscreen, you can apply it before the moisturizer.

Was looking for a good sunscreen and bought the 90 ml tube as it was the smallest available. I bought it in-store as I urgently needed sunscreen and made the mistake of not looking at online reviews. There is constant skin pilling that makes it nearly impossible to wear. Very disappointed as I splurged a bit on this purchase and it was a complete waste of money.
1 reply from La Roche-Posay Product Expert team - 3 months ago
Hello Anon! Thank you for sharing some personal feedback with us on our Anthelios Clear Skin Dry Touch Face Sunscreen for Acne Prone Skin - SPF 60. We are sorry to hear you are having a hard time getting the product to absorb into the skin. We recommend allowing the first product you apply in your skincare routine to fully dry and absorb into skin until it feels dry to the touch before layering on the next product. In addition, try applying a small amount in the palm of your hands and rubbing them together. Then, apply to one small area at a time, rubbing well. The formula should apply easily leaving a lightweight, non-greasy feel. We hope these tips are helpful and you give it another try!

I bought this sunscreen a few days ago and only after 2 days of using it gave me a bad rash on my cheeks. I really like laroche products because they don’t give me acne like most sunscreens. But this one really dried out my skin and made my skin look red after putting it on. I didn't get burnt in high uv though so, there’s that. But I wouldn’t recommend this product.

I was so excited to try this brand but this specific product was really disappointing. It was so drying on my skin and it doesn’t layer well, it always piled up. It also leaves a white residue in any creases you may have. For me it was underneath my eyes, crows feet, my smile lines, and the creases in my neck. It’s difficult to rub in all the way and it leaves my eyebrows looking crusty. I’m so disappointed with the way the product worked on my skin and for the price in this economy.

I used to wear the anti brilliance sunscreen and I never opted for any other brand; yet this new formula is just awful, maybe it’s truly non-comedogenic yet it’s too heavy on my skin and leaves alot of shine while this product should be targeting oily skin that is shiny by default! Switched to other brand unfortunately after years only using la roche posay ..

My dermatologist recommended this product. I was hesitant at first since I have oily skin. This absolved the oils on my face and doesn’t leave a white cast. I use this under my makeup. I use this daily and it is now a part of my skincare routine.
