Love it, but it pills

I have been using this sunscreen for over a year now. I have a fair complexion, with freckles, and oily/combination skin, and I always apply skincare before I apply my sunscreen. I love that it is a mineral sunscreen with an SPF 50, as these are minimum requirements for me when it comes to sunscreen. I like how fluid this sunscreen is, and it does absorb into the skin without a white film or cast. However, I find that it does require you to rub it in completely in order to ensure a face without the white film or cast, and I have noticed that if I rub it too much or if it gets into my hairline or eyebrows, it will PILL. Aside from only providing 40 minutes of protection, my biggest issue with this sunscreen is that it pills all the time. It makes my hair look like it has dandruff, or if I accidentally rub my neck (because I also apply this to my neck), it PILLS like crazy.

Best Daily Sunscreen

My daily go-to sunscreen for several years. I love this light weighted sunscreen that isn’t sticky and leave a white cast on your face. It’s senseless and provide enough sun protection. A bottle can last me at least 6 months. Love it.

I love LaRoche Posay, and I have to wear mineral sunscreens because chemical spf stings my eyes. While I actually prefer the tinted version of this, the United is just as reliable.

I really like this sunscreen. It’s super thin and melts into the skin quickly. I have really sensitive skin and this is the first sunscreen I’ve been able to use underneath my makeup without ending up with a breakout.

Not as good as I hoped

3 out of 5 stars

Rating would be more of a 3.5. Really wanted to like this sunscreen as I’m looking for a great mineral one. I have a light skin tone, but this product tends to leave a white cast, and if you don’t rub it in really well it leaves streaks. Will finish the bottle but won’t repurchase. Pros: it comes off well with an oil cleanser, doesn’t irritate my skin.

I normally use the Anthelios AOX SPF50, which I really like but ran out of, so I grabbed this but I am very unhappy with the unattractive bluish-white pall it leaves on my face. It also is definitely not matte and has an unpleasant greasy feel. Big waste of hard earned money

Personally I love this product it’s easy to apply is thin almost runny which I love. It’s easy to blend my only issue would be that sometimes the white cast won’t go away however that could be a personal problem and maybe sometimes I don’t blend as much as I should.

I have been using this sunscreen for several years. It is absolutely the best out there. There is no white cast and it moisturizes throughout the day. It doesn’t feel heavy. Easy to use with make up. I have tried others from time to time but I always come back to this one.

I really wanted to LOVE this product but really, I only tolerated it. I bought this because I have seen so many people raving about it but it left me let down. I have combination, sensitive skin and I wear makeup often. When I used the dermatologist recommended 3 fingers length of product, this left my skin feeling oily/slippery (even after letting it set in) and my makeup did not wear well over top. If I used less, the product felt much more comfortable but I knew I was not getting adequate sun protection. Ultimately, I will use it up but I will not repurchase. I have preferred using the Anthelios HA spf 30 sunscreen and will choose to repurchase that instead.

I like that this is unscented and dries down into a matte finish. Wears well under makeup with no pilling. This does leave a white cast but any mineral sunscreen will. This does not spread easily despite coming out runny so I have to work in small sections and blend well to minimize white cast. La Roche-Posay is also very expensive for the quantity but it does not break me out or irritate my skin. I will try a tinted version next.
