I love Lands End towels, they are soft and wear well. But the colors coming and going are frustrating. I really wanted a whole set of these towels in Soft Sage, would have been perfect with my tile, but they were discontinued. The thyme color not only didn’t go with the tile but was a pretty strange color. I did keep it for a kitchen hand towel.

I did not realize how sad my 10 year old bath towels were until these arrived! These towels are soft yet absorb water really well, hold up in the wash and retain their beautiful color. I purchased these on sale and I am glad that I did because I think that they are pricey at full price. I'll wait for a sale to buy more.

I bought sets of Dusty Blue Supima towels and the color is much darker than pictured, the color is a stormy mid tone not the light color pictured. Quality looks good, but the 3 darker blues must be very dark.

I have been purchasing these towels for over 15 years, and have always been pleased with them. The price on them, however, has gotten so ridiculously high that I only purchase them when they are half off, and then I stock up.

The quality of the towel is good. I’ve bought LE towels for years. The problem is in the color. While it looked like the gray I bought before, it was darker and more like a blue color than gray. Disappointed that they don’t match bathroom colors or the other towels I bought before.

I loved towels and order several sets and colors. They washed so well, the colors were lovely, the sizes were generous. NOW the colors as with much of Lands End fabrics and clothing, are dark and drab. As mentioned by another user the towel fabric does unravel or looks stagged after a couple of washings. NOT WHAT THEY USE TO BE!!

My husband bought me 2 sets of these towels and I am loving them. They are soft and big and get me dry quickly. One of my favorite things is how large the towels are! I love how generously sized the towels are and they feel good against my skin. They dry quickly, also.

They are quality towels like I expect from LE. My only disappointment was that they looked blue in the catalog, which was what I wanted, but the blue color is closer to aqua. I kept them anyway, but wish LE carried a true blue towel.

Let’s put this in perspective. I bought two bath sheets and four hand towels. All have been washed and are GREAT quality. Keep in mind, others who give them a low rating, may have hard water. Meaning they’re being washed in water that has a high mineral content, without a home water softener. Another issue may be, over drying on high heat. As for not color matching to previously bought towels. This should be expected. As with anything else, tile, carpet, draperies… when manufactured have slightly different dye lots.
