    These pants will be good for winter! I have two pairs of Lands end cords from last year and those did have more cotton in them, but these are just fine. I will have to do a small hem, but that seems to be the way things are these days for petite clothing.

    Decent but not sleek: waist bunchy, pockets bulgy.

    These pants are OK. But the elastic waist is a bit thick & bunchy, and the pockets kind of stick out at each side. (Maybe if I had wider hips the pockets would lie flat, but my hips are not much narrower than the model's, so I think it's a design issue.) A much better design is the LL Bean "perfect fit knit cords", but the problem with the LL Bean pants is that the current fabric is poor quality: it feels & looks great at first, but the knees get baggy after six months. If only we could have the LL Bean design, with the Lands' End quality fabric! (PS if you still want to buy them: Note that they run big. Even after consulting the size chart, I ended up exchanging my S for an XS.)

    I must have shrunk 4 inches in the past year! I ordered these pants last year in petite as I did with this order but the pants were 4 inches longer.

    Runs VERY large. .. in fact, the sizing is wrong. At least, one size bigger than indicated. I have the feeling that Land’s End has an issue with standardized sizing this year, because it’s not the first item order which dos not correspond to standardized sizing. I also bought a cashmere cardigan which was too small and not corresponding to the standardized size.

    20 plus pairs and counting!

    I have been buying these for years. I have over 20 pair in various shades of fading! Always get a new black pair every season. They are comfortable, long lasting….my go to pant daily. Wish they would go back to the silky pocket lining, less bulk.

    Beware not the same stretch corduroy pant

    I have bought these stretch corduroy pants several times. These are not the same, they have very thin material and don't feel like corduroy at all. Why weren't these marked as "new" or "updated". I am returning and now have to pay the shipping return cost.Very unfair! I did not try them on but its making me put in details about the fit.

    Don't see how one can even pretend to call this corduroy, or "cotton rich." It is thin and flimsy, nowhere near the quality of the sport knit corduroy pants i've purchased over the years. I'll be sending it back. The charcoal is even thinner than the black.

    Tall is NOT a 32 inch inseam!

    Tall is 33-34 in inseam. Why did Lands End go to 32 for a Tall Inseam? I know a lot of other Tall ladies complaining that they cannot wear Lands End anymore. Another 1-2 inches would bring you a huge market of women looking for these lengths. I am 5 ft 10 inches - not crazy tall. Like a lot of other women.

    Best Pants on the planet!

    I have been buying these pants for years. This year the change in fabric has made them my “ go to dress pants!” OMGosh they fit perfectly Medium Petite - weight 160#, 5’4”. I’ve worn same size since I first ordered them. If I gain a few pounds, no problem; if I lose a few pounds no problem! I love everything about them ! My only problem was I always wait to order and ivory is always gone - this year I ordered them prior to the sale. Best move I could have made. I may order another pair in ivory for backup and I plan on ordering a few more colors.Thank You L E!!!

    I normally purchase a size 14-16 tall . I am of slim build . These pants could fit two of me in them and still have room left over. I love Lands End clothes and they have always fit great. These pants obviously were sized wrong . I’m sure you will get a lot of them returned. Wished I had read the reviews before I ordered. Very disappointed in them. But I still love the fact that Lands End carries misses tall clothing. Not many places do. Thank you

    Downgraded quality

    I have worn these pants for years, but the quality has gone down to rock bottom. The fabric has changed - is more like pajamas - and although I ordered a size smaller than usual, it was way too large. Returned.

    Perfect Cords for Winter

    I purchased these corduroy pants about a year ago and I absolutely love them. Lands end has narrowed the width of the legs and they look perfect on. I am 5'2" 149 and I got the large in Petite.

    Quality fabric, run very large

    I love the fabric, but this pant runs really large. As a result, they just didn’t fit right. I’m a sold 16, but these pants would easily fit an 18/20.

    Dress-up sweatpants?

    I was hoping the 'corduroy' would mean these would be dressy enough for work. They're decent weight pants, with a decent drape, but basically they're glorified sweatpants. Maybe a darker color would make a difference, but in gray, I wouldn't wear these anywhere that I wouldn't be comfortable in sweats. (Yes, I'm in that camp for whom sweats are for the gym and home.) And for sweats, they are pricey.

    comfy but light weight

    Although these are very comfortable, I was disappointed that you changed them. I have some that I have had for about 3 years. They are heavier and have a higher cotton content. These are lighter weight and stretchy-- a little more like pajamas. I will probably keep one of the three I purchased to wear around home, but they are not suitable or warm enough to wear to work in Minnesota like the old ones are.
