The tomato sauce is very thick, and tomato-ey, and the pasta was al dente when microwaved per the instructions. Overall it was tasty but it was also quite salty. The box shows it as one third of daily sodium intake. This frozen meal is a good portionsize for one person. Personally I am not counting calories so I tried it as a convenient frozen meal rather than it being lean Cuisine. I would give it 4 stars out of 5 with a minor deduction due to the saltiness and tomato flavor. I couldn't taste any cheese, never mind five cheeses. Maybe the cheese melting in gave it its thick texture and saltiness?. I would but it again as a convenient frozen meal or lunch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 5 cheese rigatoni is pretty good for a freezer meal. The portion size was a bit too much food for me for lunch, but that is ok. It took 3 minutes to cook, then stop stir, then cook for 2 minutes, then let sit for a minute, then can eat. So if taking this for work for a 30-minute break, you may spend a third of your time getting to the microwave and cooking this and if all you get is a 15 minute break this would not be a meal for you. The carbs are high in this meal, the net carbs are 50, and that is what I need in an entire day. The calories are also high, and 10 grams of fat seem kinda high, also. The 14 grams of protein is nice, but the rest doesn't balance to make this a great meal for those of us on certain macro focused diets. Also, the meal looks great on the box and looks pretty good coming out of the box, but once cooked correctly, it looks like baby food. Although the noodles are nicely cooked, the visual is absolutely abysmal. Wish there was a way to put the cheese on after cooking, maybe to make it look more appealing.
