Brand new, doesnt work
Such a good concept if it actually worked. I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She just opened it and it doesn’t work. The touch doesn’t work to identify words and it gives the wrong page information. I changed the batteries thinking that would help but it didn’t. I will be returning tomorrow.

Is been less than a month everything started off great and than out of nowhere it stared not finishing words and not responding while touching something, I figured it was the batteries so I tried to change them and it wouldn’t come back on unless I put the old batteries back on… thankfully I’m within the 90 days to return.

Good concept, poor longevity
I love the concept and ease of use for this product. This product is age approriate and could be used to engage children in their exploration of the world around them. Unfortunatly I can not reccommed this product. I gave this as a gift and within less than 3 months it stopped consistently working. This is the second Leap Frog item that I have purchased as a gift that stopped working after a ridiculously short amount of time. I was hoping with the first one that it was just a lemon but after my experience with this item (I visit the gift recipient often) I will not be repurchasing any Leap Frog items due to these issues. As is this product could be used as a dictionary but not as intended with the sound and additional information provided by a working product.
