Q: Specifications show the microscope is 3.4”H x 8.7”W. Is the height correct?

A: Thank you for your question. In our system we have the height measuring at 7.5 inches, which seems to be more accurate. We apologize for any confusion.

A: Yes. The microscope was designed to work on planet Earth. On planet Earth there are literally tons of things all over the place that an aspiring scientist can view with this devise. The magic starts by just "going outside."

I got this microscope for my five year old. I wasn’t able to get it to focus at all at the highest magnification level. It did work at the lower two levels but the microscope seemed like it was loose and wouldn’t stay in position.
