Good room coverage
This is a fun, affordable STEM toy for children interested in space. Its standout features are the two-projection design; the rotating dome spreads stars or constellation maps on the ceiling while the other displays planets, moon, rocket, galaxy, etc.

Kids will like it
Its a noce night lamp for the kids as the galaxy stars and constellations move but the idea of having the discs with images of the solar system don’t really move unless you move them manually.. by its first look I thought the planets al can be seen at once on the room ceiling but thats not the case it could just be a projector instead of adding those unnecessary slides.

A fun and immersive experience
My kids and I enjoyed using the Thames & Kosmos Planetarium projector plus as we settle down for the night. My kids were instantly fascinated with the moving scenes and the stars, galaxies, and animals projected on the walls and ceiling. The rotating dome has 4 unique worlds creating an immersive experience. The color is a bright and vibrant yet relaxing blue. The projection feature comes with 128 images on 16 discs! Both projections occur simultaneously or individually. I think this projector is great value for what you get. I would only recommend additional color options as well as clearer images for the projector.

Great learning tool
I homeschool my children so I was extremely intrigued by this. It didn't disappoint! It was so easy to set up and has so many great details. The projection is great. It comes with so many different slides and there are posters to go with the slides!!! There's a planetary poster so my kids can look on the projector and find a constellation and refer to the poster to learn about it!!! And it's not even just space, there's so many different one! The birds were one of our favorites so far! I have had them look at the poster and pick a bird to learn about then we will project that bird on the wall with the corresponding slide. This is seriously such a great tool not only for fun but for teaching! We are obsessed!!!!

Obsessed!!
I am literally obsessed over this planetarium. It comes with diagram for sea life, astrology, all types of animals, So that you can identify them. The build was super easy to set up. It's very portable to take with you and lightweight, and the value is the best for this learning tool for children. My daughter spent hours looking at the slides and using the projector at once. We absolutely love this!

A little complex, a little difficult. But pretty cool patterns. Don't be use from ground level.
My biggest recommendation if you end up with this projector is to put it on an end table or a nightstand so that it's already three or four feet tall if you're trying to reach the ceiling. You are not going to get very good results from the floor or from the ground. Let's also talk about the 13 steps of instructions to get started which is a little bit more clunky than it needs to be. Each dome comes with a white plastic circle there's one for each, I have no idea why they don't come pre-installed but there's somewhat difficult to snap in. You will take seven or eight attempts before you get it right, and then you're going to take seven or eight attempts to actually rotate it into place as well. Now once you get everything situated it's quite bright and the walls around the perimeter of the room get covered pretty well with the different designs. Presto the ceiling was dim and we definitely wanted to fill the room with light in a cool way that could be appreciated from looking every direction and that's not exactly what we ended up getting in our dark room. The swirling patterns were pretty cool as for the curvy lines but some of the constellations lost sharpness with distance.

Fun projector for kids!
My 8 year old daughter loves this projector! It’s quick to set up the different globe options and then change the images with different reels. She keeps the projector on overnight in her room and turns it off in the morning. Performs exactly as expected.

Fun and educational
My kids are thrilled with their Thames & Kosmos Planetarium Projector. This nifty projector can be placed on a flat surface or hung on a wall, and turns any darkened room into a planetarium. At the touch of a button, stars, planets and constellations are projected onto the walls and ceiling. It also includes image discs with space images and dinosaurs for added educational fun.
