The children in my preschool love this scale, but it broke soon after we bought it. I have tried to fix it to no avail.

Very disappointed as my scale broke in the same place as the other reciewers said. It would be nice if there were replacement parts but there aren't. It's too bad as my kids really enjoyed the scale!

One of the 3 arms the pan hangs from snapped off and now the pan doesn't hang evenly. It's difficult to put items into because some fall out. We've had the product for a few years and have used it less than 10 times total.

The hanger holding one of the pans broke the first day my 3 year olds used it!! And they do not sell replacement parts for it. Looks good, but I will get a scale elsewhere next time.

Used this product with children ages 5 and 7. The handle holding the pan on the balance broke after only having the product 3 months. If this product is that delicate, it shouldn't be recommended for 3+. And their is not even a replacement when or if pan breaks. My suggestion: try another balance for your children.

My kids were having a ball with this balance scale until the inside pieces that hold each pan broke off. They were being careful and were using small objects, so it wasn't a case of rough play. The plastic is cheap. Now this is useless because the pans cannot be held up off the table. It happened months after we received it, so I doubt I could have returned it. Then we moved, so by now it's definitely too late, and my sons are upset. I'll have to look for a different brand, which is disappointing because almost everything else from LR is fantastic quality!
