Bought one for my two year old and my three year old nephew. The cupcakes are amazing, they love the matching and they have a great feel with bold colors.

Fun and high-quality toy for bath time. Cupcakes are easy to put togther by shape. Kids love playing with them in water. Great for toddlers. Highly recommend!

Although our granddaughter LOVES these cupcakes, they are EXTREMELY difficult to take apart. One the first day, two of the icing tops broke off of the shaped part. I’ll have to glue back together. If she didn’t love them so much, I’d return. Very disappointed.

Great for learning shapes and colors but they are SO HARD to pull apart.

Ordered these because my little one bit through a different set of cupcake sorters and we needed a replacement. The reviews do not lie. It is nearly impossible to pull the tops and bottoms apart. So impossible that I broke my nails trying to. There are little nubbies inside the bottoms so the top 'clicks' in, but they are too tight to then get the tops back out! There is still the play option to put the cupcake into the corresponding shape in the pan, but my little one likes pulling the pieces apart and putting them back together so we are a bit disappointed in this purchase.

these cupcakes are such an odd toy, the edges are incredibly sharp and the cupcake part is near impossible to remove from the bottom. Some come out easy some you need to claw out. That being said for some reason my kid loves them.

Both my kids, 18m and almost 4, were really excited for this toy. They were impossible for even me to separate which I kind of wasn’t sad about because that means less pieces to clean up, but changes the type of play with this toy. The muffin tin does have the corresponding shape in each spot, so you can still match shapes, but it’s not the same as fitting two pieces together. My 4 year old was especially frustrated because she knew they were supposed to come apart. We are returning.

The quality control of this toy must be very inconsistant. The reviews are either so good or sooo bad. I love the idea of this toy. Great idea for imaginative play as well as learning about shapes and honing small motor skills. Thankfully my set had no odor. Unfortunately, the cupcakes are almost impossible to separate. 1/2 of my set works fine but the other 1/2 are so tight that an adult cannot sepatate them without great effort. No way a toddler can use the shape matching feature. Target was quick to offer a refund. Thank you

My little one loves these cupcakes

I have a 1 and 3 year old. they aren't interested but maybe next year. although they like that you can spin the tops like a top. I also wish they were different colors instead of teal or salmon.

My son loves these! He learns shape, colors, fine motor skills, and likes to pretend to bake them and eat them.

Absolutely love this toy. Our three year old does too! Very high quality. Great for learning colors and shapes. We love this brand and would definitely buy from them again.

My daughter loves these cupcakes!! She has been obsessed since she was 1 1/2 years old and is almost 3 now. This was such a nice tool to teach her colors and shapes. I now have a son who is 1 and he’s starting to enjoy them too. SO much value.

My 2 year old loves these for pretend play, and love that they’re also educational. They do have a strong chemical scent when they’re first opened.

My 3 year old played with these at daycare when he was little and remembered them and asked (insisted) for them for his 4th birthday. I wasn't sure because I thought he may be too old for them. I was wrong. He LOVES them and can play with them all day long. I was a little concerned about the reviews about the smell... No issues with that.

very educational dont like it doesn't have a cover or bin to close we have lost some peices

I got this as a Christmas gift for my 3 year old son and he loves it! Him and his 1 year old sister play with them almost everyday. The cupcakes are great for counting, learning colors and shapes. Great educational toy that keeps the little ones busy!

Like some others mentioned, the smell of these things is strong even after two washes and an overnight soak in soapy water. We’ve had them open since Christmas three weeks ago (got as a gift) and they are still smelly- not as much as they used to be but sheesh, still strongly chemical. Other than this, they are really a fun toy to play with and give you lots of options to set up play learning activities.

Honestly, I love the concept of this set. It is something that I know would bring my daughter enjoyment. However, as other reviews have stated it smells horrible so I haven't even let my LO begin to play with it. I tried soaking it in hot soapy water and then scrubbing the pieces and still the smell is horrendous.

We had this toy for several years for my older 2 children and they loved it. It’s since been downgraded to an outside/sometimes toy, is missing pieces, and is extremely dirty. We bought this new set for our youngest to enjoy inside and she’s over the moon! She loves them and plays with them all the time.
