Q: Is the bottom compartment for cards supposed to stay closed? Just opened ours and it doesn't stay closed so it drags on the floor when we wheel the bus.

submitted by Elliott - 3 months ago
  • A: Hi Elliot. Please make sure the latch is completely snapped in, in order for the door to stay closed. Thank you. The Battat Team

Q: Are the cards and book pages sturdy enough to stay intact when a two-year-old tries to tear them? Thanks.

submitted by not a Target Team Member - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi not a Target Team Member. The cards are pretty sturdy, however we make the printable versions available that you can request through our Care Teams. You can reach out to the teams through the following URL customercare.battatco.com. Thank you. The Battat Team

This is the second one I've purchased. Toy has multiple options for play. I use it with my clients with ASD. One can learn emotions, practice the faces, and match the faces. Super easy to read story is included. They open and have shapes inside. You can use those as stamps in play dough or clay. Also numbered-counting options. They can be used for sorting. And imaginative play cracking them open to make eggs! Or you can makes up stories yourself. Lastly, they spin very well. Awesome toy good for instruction and fun!

Suuuuch a cute toy and “game”. My toddler is obsessed with the bus part, even with no eggs inside lol. The eggs have great little faces, and double as play food too.

There is I received for damaged. But once they were returned my husband went and grabbed the set from the store. We love them the inside that's have very colorful shapes and each egg has emotional faces which allows you to talk about feelings with your kids. It also goes great with kitchen sets.

Perfect for open ended play - these little eggs win “best Christmas gift” in our family. My kids have played with them more than anything else! 1.5 year old can match the shapes to put them together and 5 year old gets the faces and feelings.

This is a great gift for a range of ages, from 2 to about 7 years old. It's so versatile, as it can be used educationally to teach colors, shapes, and feelings! Creative children can come up with many other ways to play with it too. The feelings cards and little book are an extra bonus. I have given this bus as a gift to several children and use it professionally in social/emotional learning sessions with young school aged children!

I got this for my 28 month old niece for Christmas, she loves it! There’s a lot to this toy that makes it a good buy for the smart baby in your life - counting, shapes, colors, emotions, motor skills. Plus, the dozen eggs in the carton is super cute! I recommend this for that special baby in your life.

Color/shape matching, school bus, emotion education, physics, etc! YESSSSS

This toy covers so many bases. School bus obsession (with working wheels and a lid that is easily opened but also resilient enough for a 4 year old to play with it)? Check. Egg matching (like Ms Rachel)? Check. Learning about emotions both visually AND through storytelling? Check! OH- And in case you needed more- physics? Because the eggs are weighted and they wobble and they have familiar shapes AND some fancy ones (like a crescent moon, and both a hexagon AND a pentagon, which is cool) and the emotions included are not only the basics (happy sad mad) but also more complex ones (confused, proud, shy) which I think is great! It comes with a little story book that helps the children about identity and learn about the different emotions, and includes a set of cards for each emotion which gives more details and tips, including a mirror card, so that the child can try to convey the various emotions themselves! Love this so much. Great for a wide age range bc it covers several years of developmental stages and can evolve with the child and be modified for a younger or older child- I’d say age 1-6? Whenever they are able to walk and talk, it makes for a good time to start learning about emotions and if you’re going to get an egg matching set, why not just get one that serves multiple purposes? Also- school bus. Kids love those things!

Love the multi-purposes this toy offers but I find the overall design a little tricky for my 2.5 year old! The top part of the container latches and my son can’t open it on his own once closed. He has difficulty opening some of the eggs as well as they get stuck together. Cute idea just some design bugs!

Was an absolute hit with my 2.5 y/o niece! She immediately got to work playing with it and manipulating it and she knew just what to do. There are so many different things that can be done with this toy—counting, putting eggs in the bus and taking out, pushing the bus around, matching by shape, matching by color etc. It was easily the favorite gift that was given at this party.

It’s cute and fun. Too many pieces to keep track of but if you’re only going use alongside your child then this would be good. Not for us, our LO wants to play with the bus and the eggs and pieces are all over and lost

We absolutely love this! Helps my toddler recognize their emotions as well as others. The only downside is the card holder has never stayed shut for us. Very frustrating for my little. Would be 5 stars if it did
