[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review and I'm honestly super excited to continue playing it with my little ones. The instructions are simple and clear and easy for small children to understand. The game itself is also easy for little ones to get the hang of. It focuses on putting together three letter words using a single beginning letter and then combining that with two ending letters to make simple words like cat or mug. My five and seven year old played it together and got the hang of it really quickly. During game play, they each combined the letter sounds to figure out if they could make a real word with the tiles they picked each turn and for each word they made, they got to turn the tiles into a s'more by adding a marshmallow. They've played together multiple times and loved it each time. Now they both ask to play on a regular basis and giggle at the nonsense words that they try to make with the tiles they end up with and get excited every time they can make real words. This game is definitely going to help them both become better readers and help my five year old better remember her letter sounds and how to combine those sounds to make words and read. The only downside is that it is simple enough that if you don't have two new or beginning readers, I don't think it would be as much fun to play because the more advanced reader would get bored with it. Luckily, I have two children close in age who are both beginning readers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am homeschooling my 5 year old and plan to homeschool my 2 younger ones as well. I am always looking for ways to make education fun, and was very excited when this opportunity came up to receive this product from BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review. My 5 year old talks about s'mores frequently and has always wanted to try them. He was very excited when this game arrived and couldn't wait to play it. We've played it a few times now and it's been very fun! It's a great way to learn how to read and to be creative with the "choose your own letter" feature. My son still doesn't understand how to piece letter sounds together, but by practicing with this game, he will be more likely to get it. The game pieces seem like good quality, that will stand up to years of play. So hopefully my little girls can join in on the fun when the time comes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a cute way to learn spelling it's a very unique new idea with the s'mores it kept my son very entertained we pretend like we were having a campfire while playing the game. I like that the pieces are very strong seems like they will last for a while and not break down easy. The cleanup of this game was fast after playing we packed it away real quick. I will say one of my favorite things about the game was that the marshmallows are actually squishy!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the product for free in exchange for writing a review. My 7 year old and I played the game. He enjoyed it very much. He especially liked the squishy marshmallows. I think the game is suited for kids under 7 since it was pretty easy for him.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [I got this product free in exchange for writing a review, but this review is my honest opinion] I have a 6 yo and 9 yo. My 6yo is on list D for his sight words, and I was concerned that this game would be hard for him. But, he LOVED it and he was surprisingly great at it. What surprised me even more was even my 9yo liked it. They had a blast making up words. The only negative I'll give is the marshmallows, while fun for the kids to squish, do attract dirt. But that is really the only negative. I plan to buy this game for 5-6 yo birthday gifts. I know as a parent I love receiving educational games for my kids, and this one was easy to set up and easy to use. The instructions were simple.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] "Let's Spell S'mores!" by Learning Resources is a charming educational game for kids ages 5+ (grades K+), designed for 2-4 players. With 62 pieces, including lettered graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolates, it turns spelling into a playful camping-themed activity. Players build CVC words around a pretend campfire, aiming to spell the most words to win. The vibrant box art captures the fun, showing a child roasting marshmallows while assembling s'mores. It's perfect for early learners, promoting phonics and fine motor skills, though the simple gameplay might not hold older kids' attention for long. A great pick for fun, interactive, hands-on learning!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were immediately excited when they opened the box—the marshmallows are adorable, and we love camping, so the theme was a hit. I originally got this game with my 7-year-old daughter in mind, but my 4-year-old son joined in too. While the game isn't really designed for his age, this is just how we play in our house—we include everyone. It actually turned into great spelling practice for my daughter, since she was helping her younger brother, which also reinforced her own learning. They loved building s'mores and did a little party dance each time they made a word. The wild star pieces were their favorite—they got to be creative, and it kept things fun. I appreciated that the game got them excited about spelling in a playful way. There were a few things I didn't love. The marshmallows are super cute but have a sticky texture that picks up every bit of dog hair and dirt—big downside for us. We also ran out of marshmallows before using all the graham crackers, which was a little disappointing. And while the idea of healthy competition is good, I worry about how the format might affect younger or struggling readers. If one child spells a lot of words and another struggles, it could lead to negative feelings around reading. A cooperative version might be more beneficial in some settings. We followed the standard instructions, and while my kids had fun, they didn't ask to play again. They weren't interested in trying the alternate versions, and with the age gap, those would have been tricky to play anyway. That's why I think this game might really shine in a classroom or small group setting, where kids are on more equal footing and can interact more freely with peers. We'd love to see more wild stars and maybe lose the "lose a turn" fire piece—let's keep the momentum going when kids are excited about spelling. A fun bonus idea could be a pretend roasting element to build on the campfire theme. Disclosure: I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 yo loves this game. He got the hang of it quite fast and was forming his little s'more right away. He thought it was funny and even play pretend to eat them. My 4yo just wanted to squeeze the marshmallows. The paint on the s'more did come off easily but it was still fun to play a quick family game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The game is good because it allows my 5 year old to put words together and sound them out. She's just learning all of her letter sounds so this is great for her to help with that.
