The table is well made and sturdy. The color is more walnut than black but I have similar larger tables and will paint them all a matte black. The size of the table is perfect for the available space. The only negative is that the directions need to be more detailed so that it is clear that the legs that attach the top section require two screws. All that being said, the table is great and I would purchase another one.
