LEGO Art The Fauna Collection – Tiger DIY Set 31217

Super fun set ! Took me about 4 hours I loved it and had so much fun!

I did enjoy building this, the way the layers of the tigers head grow to create the final outcome is clever. But it's almost like the flowers are there as an afterthought, hence why i only gave it 4 out of 5. A tiger with something more exciting (or some stronger mouth features) would have been 5. Price, well my standard comment is that Lego prices are 10-15% too high now, this one is no different.

Expensive for poor quality

Love the way this turned out. I especially love the way it is on an easel for display purposes. I am decorating it with rhinestones and can’t wait to display the finished product.

Ordered this before Thanksgiving then hid it so grandson would not find! Week before Christmas-it wasn’t where I remembered to have put it! Reordered but it told me it couldn’t be delivered until after our events, so I had to refigure again! Copied phot and put in box then on Dec 24th, I received a message that it was delivered!!! I couldn’t be happier!! Thank you!!

As soon as I saw this set, I knew I needed it to go with my 3in1 tiger! Looks amazing together.

The packaging was label with different bags like other sets have done. It comes with a hole on the back you can hang on the way or a kickstand you can just place on a table etc.

i love doing legos. i work as a head custodian at an elementary school in Wisconsin. we are the tigers. i put this together for the display case outside the school gym.

I love building my lego .As i can spend hours doing it.

10/10 build. Zero chance of mauling… unless you step on a leftover brick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely stunning! I love legos and have never seen many legos like the ones they make now with beautiful designs like this! I can honestly say I definitely want more! It was so fun to make and my son loved helping me make it together. However I do suggest being extra cautious because this one did have a lot of tiny pieces and it would be best to do it in a safe space or at least mind where all your pieces are. Over all this piece if definitely going to be hung for display at my house! 😊

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 14-year-old and I put this together. We spent an evening working with all the pieces, and it was well packaged with individual bags for each section so that you don’t have to sort through all the pieces at once. There are some tiny pieces so heed the age guidance, keep away from infants, toddlers, or cats who steal small objects. This was a fun way to spend an evening catching up while we built this standalone piece that can also be wall-mounted. We probably spent a couple hours working on this, but keep in mind there is only one booklet so two people looking at different things and trying to put pieces together isn’t the easiest, but we made it work by splitting up the pieces to make each part so that we were on the same pages but building something different. Affixing some of the flowers was the hardest part, you might pop off other flowers while trying to get new ones attached. All in all, we enjoyed building this tiger, and we were quite tickled with how creepy it looks before its eyelids are attached.

I suppose there will be pedants who might say parts of the build are repetitive but I find that relaxing. It allows me to just concentrate on the build. I thought the overall effect was far better than I’d expected so was very pleasantly surprised. For me the eyes are a triumph. I did embellish with some copper wire leds, well why not, I had them spare.
