Great classic batmobile
I purchased this as I love the classic car tv / film set kits. I wasn't disappointed either. Looks just like the 60's Batman car. Not too challenging to build myself but throughly enjoyed assembling it. Looks great with my Ghostbusters Ecto 1.

So Disappointed
I don’t think I’ve ever been so disappointed in a set I’ve purchased, so much so I wish I hadn’t brought it home. First, the stickers - 38 of them, to be exact. And they are tiny labels on tiny pieces and for someone who likes everything to be even, it was arduous. As in NO FUN. Second, I love things that “work.” I enjoyed building the red farm truck and was so happy with the fact that the doors work, the steering wheel controls the front axle, the hood opens to reveal a very spiffy engine. It’s playable beyond the build. This Batmobile however? Nah. First off, the build is rather boring - so many instances of “make 2” or “make 4.” Yawn - didn’t have to look at the instructions half the time. The steering wheel is just positioned onto a stickered console (and falls off easily), a small section of the trunk and hood open, and for something that was supposedly a careful replica, there are no working doors. Some of the later batmobiles didn’t have doors, I guess, but I’d read that this version did. Anyway, it should work. It just should. I went from excited to “bleh.” And just wanted to get it done. It is basically a heavy replica model. Just not impressed. Could have been excellent.

Holy curved bricks, Batman
The techniques in this build are incredible. The curves of this car are beautiful and I can’t believe someone figured out how to do them all! It looks so good!

Large set for the pricepoint
Good build. It could use some additional features, but I think it is a really good set.

LEGO quality has declined dramatically
I've been building LEGOs for a long time-my Rebrickable is well over 20,000 dollars, & this will be my last LEGO purchase. All of the black flat panels are milky, & show the ghost rings of the underneath. The only black pieces in the set are the female hinge flats for the trunk-which stand out like a sore thumb. I don't know what happened to LEGO, but from now on I'll find another hobby. I don't want a refund, or another set-I just want to warn other serious builders against this set. I hope they fix the quality issues, but I'm not going to spend my money to find out.

Ive put this set off for a long time, finally bought it and built it. The value for the this is great, The overrall design and build is fantastic as well. Only bad thing is the stickers, as I hate stickers but would still recommend. Love this set!

Classic car added to collection
Overall it was a fun build. Never a fan of tiny stickers on little pieces. Always enjoyed the classic show so nice to have an icon piece of it in my collection. Found a fun case for it as well!

Missing pieces
The set looks great, my son was super excited to start! Bag 1: 10 missing pieces. Checked and double checked everything to make sure we weren't missing it. Nope, called Target and they said we could not return, we had to go through Lego for the parts. So a week later we are still waiting for the pieces. Very unfortunate. I'm sure it'll be fantastic once we get the pieces and hopefully won't be missing anything else!

Decent build
I read some of other reviews and I think the decision to not include at least Robin in this set is criminal, but I honestly didn't think there was going to be a Batman from the box art. The stickers are a pain, and there are a lot of very small ones to try and line up perfectly. Some people love to do that stuff, I'm getting old, I'm not crazy about doing it. My stickers lined up perfectly on the print out, maybe not perfectly on the installation. I enjoyed the build for the most part, but there are pieces on this (the fenders, wings, roof bits) that will easily come off if it is handled incorrectly. I definitely would not give this to a child for play time, or let the fur babies near it.

Frustrating build, blood pressure through the roof
I bought this to go with my 1989 Batmobile. I buy Lego to relax but this build left me angry & my blood pressure was through the roof. Very frustrated with numerous parts that kept falling off during the build, which to me shows its a poor quality construction. Don't think the instructions were clear , had to do loads of modifications to get bits to fit. Overall a very disappointing experience.
