LEGO DC Batman: The Classic TV Series Batmobile Set and DC Collectibles 76328

After the '89 Batman vehicle, I've been collecting each of these larger sets. That one set and still holds the highest standard from the ingenious piece design, details, and build quality, even though most of the pieces were in, as Batman would have wanted, black or very dark grey. This set was a bit disappointing. Although some of the building techniques were very well done, and the injection of red for the design was a welcome change, the overall build quality at the end doesn't compare to the others. Whether it is things like the static wheel, or the red at the front not quite lining up, it felt like "good enough". Not what I've come to expect of Lego in recent memory. The stickers were ridiculous, and as other reviewers said, the worst offender was arguably the wings on the back. Also, what a missed opportunity for solving a problem with lego as opposed to relying on stickers. I guess at the size that is difficult, but eight stickers for four just those four pieces, was just too much. In total, how many stickers?? Lastly, the missing Robin, yeah that's a definite bummer. I guess it's hard because his trousers would look less like briefs and more like... so, I get it, but a shame.

When I was a little kid I used to watch the original batman series with my sister and my favorite part was all of batman's different vehicles I think this car was the perfect recreation of the car and I would love to see the batcycle from 1966 done next.

One of the most enjoyable builds of a large-scale car that I've had in a while, great lines and curves. Fins and interior look awesome. It's long, about the length of Ecto1. Wish it came with a Robin Boy Wonder minifig to accompany Batman like in the TV series. It's a great set!! (Would have added pics, but kept getting error messages, sorry)

This was a very fun build it was the biggest car I have ever built.

I bought this Batmobile to go along with my batwing and the bat bike. I’m hoping I can find other bat builds to put in my collection. I bought the lego set because of the quality and accuracy of the build,I have bought from other companies and their parts don’t mate together as well as legos and the instructions aren’t as accurate as the legos.

This is a great model but disappointed by a few things. 1. No gadgets so play rating is low. 2. There is something wrong with the black bricks so it looks like the car needs a good wax and a polish as all the finger marks show up 3. You have to be very careful you spot how the stickers need to be applied, especially the ones at the end of the fins, the instructions do show that they need to be right on the edges, but this could be missed (luckily I spotted it) 4. Some parts are tricky to connect but it is worth the effort, as with all Lego, it is essential to make sure every brick is seated properly before continuing. 5. Those complaining about stickers should try the F1 cars (although they are not that expensive), had loads of fun with that lot. One trick, put the piece on a much large piece and you may find it easier to apply the stickers and easier to hold before applying piece to your model 6. Final thing, could do with a Batman and Robin that fits the model. The final model is beautiful and makes a great display. As with Concorde, large model for the comparable price. Holly Lego, Batman !

I really like this set. It was fun to build and looks great on display. I did make a few, slight modification that, I think, make it look even better: I removed some of the gray trim around the canopies and replaced some of the flat, gray plates with black plates. I also lowered the stance slightly, by removing the axles and letting the body rest directly on the tires (it’s actually very sturdy, even with the wheels detached). Have fun!

I found this awesome LEGO kit at Target in Concord, NH. I have been looking for a long time, and I finally found it. I was a little daunted by the 334 page instruction book, but was zipping along until page 111, when I discovered that the sticker sheets were not with the LEGO kit. Cannot go any further with the kit until I can find sticker sheets. That is the only drawback I have so far, and don't anticipate any others in the future.

Holy smokes Robin Great kit if your a fan of the 1960s batman

I love this car! THIS is the Batmobile , as far as I am concerned, (although the others ain't bad either!) The car looks great, the little details are wonderful and frankly one of the things I love about Lego sets. As others have said, some sticker issues are present, I use a pair of modelling tweezers to hold the stickers, I find it helps. Other than that, it was fun to build, the instructions were good, (only a couple spots did I have to figure out exactly where the part goes, but the app took care of that.) The biggest beef I have with this set is there is no Robin. In the original series, it was Batman and Robin so he should (IMHO) be included. And if a Robin is to be included, I think it should look like the Classic series Robin, except the mask should be green, as it was in the show. The effort was made for a classic looking Batman so... I would and have recommended the set to friends who also love the Classic Batman show.

Has to be one of the most iconic cars from TV and certainly did not disappoint at all. The colour scheme, the size, just everything was exactly as I’d wish for.

This was a fun build and easy to put together. I would just mention that the fault of this would be pieces will fall off to easily, especially the rear wings and fender over the wheel. This is probably due to a flaw in the design. You could use glue to hold the pieces together if you choose to do that, I myself do not use glue as my legos stays together except for this set.

Bought this set to compliment the other two Batmobiles I have. The nostalgia factor was through the roof and I loved the fun facts Lego shared in the instruction manual. The set was a fun build, not overly challenging, but had some fun details. Like other reviews, there was a fair amount of stickers- but they added value. I found the stickers for the rears fins to be the most daunting. Also, I agree with many of the comments that Lego should have included a Robin mini-fig. Maybe Lego will read enough of these and send one to builders with proof of purchase. (What do ya say Lego- how about it?)

The process of ordering and building this classic, was simple. But be sure you choose a target withot rude employees. I wasn't able to receive my order that was pre purchased, until I rudely made my presence known verbally; after having patiently watch multiple employees walk out from the back of the order pickup area. This isn't an apology for my behavior by the way.
