I’m a big brick fan and this was a fun build with a lot of detail. As far as Lego brand goes I think it was good value for the piece count and build time.

Great Build
This retro Batmobile was a great build. The instructions were clear, and the build went together easily. The pieces fit tight together, making it very sturdy. It can be handled without concern of falling apart.

Will be stylish if we ever get the missing parts.
This is a stylish elegant looking model and holds together well once built. I would give it more stars all round but for it being just another set with missing parts. One brown bag containing one of the cockpit screens was just not in there. This is the third such time this has happened. We count everything out the moment we open the box and lo, missing stuff again. My son duly builds the model, we send an email for the missing parts and set the model aside waiting for a response. So we now have 3 models near finished that he just does not care about. Frankly can't be bothered spending this much on these anymore. I would recommend anything but these sets until Lego get their processes fixed.

Excellent
Bought this set last March, excellent build and exceptionally fun! The minifigure was great too, and the level of detail is amazing, hopefully there will be another batmobile set on this scale/level of detail.

Not a good experience.
This was stressful. I had pieces missing from three seperate bags. The side wings of the vehicle do not clip in properly. You can imagine the anxiety after second piece missing, when your building and can’t find a piece.

Great reproduction
This model was so spot on to the real original Batmobile. It brings back memories of the show.

Top Gift Idea for Spouse
My husband saw this in a grocery store and said, "If you ever need a gift idea, this is it!". So, he got this for his birthday. The instruction book is over 300 pages which he loves the challenge of building it.

Batman is forever!
This set is a classic. I grew up watching the 1966 and Animated Series and yes I am a big Batman fan. It took me time to get into LEGO back again this build is classic. It’s a show piece and LEGO did a great job in putting this masterpiece into one of the most iconic Batmobiles -The 196 Batmobile. Can’t get better than this.

Buy it!
This was more then I was expecting, I thought it would be about the size of the Deloren or the mustang I have but It was Way Bigger. Im surprised its not more for the size, I would say this is the biggest bang for your buck handsndown.

Get rid of sticker sheets please
This is a great set I just wish Lego would stop with the stickers. We are already paying top dollar for these sets and your competitors with cheaper prices are printing all their pieces.

Love the car but.....
I think this is a great looking car but the assembly is horrible, bits fall off just by looking at it, particularly the wheel arches & the fins. The finished model looks really great - I've not got an issue with the arches not looking like the real car. There are some silly build stages that are in the wrong order which doesn't help. My advice would be the leave the red bricks for the arches to the very last (or you could glue them in place!). At a static model it is a good kit to have in the collection but this has been the worst build for me & somewhat detracts from the overall satisfaction when the set is completed. However, I would still recommend it because it looks so good.

Amazing set
The build was engaging and fun, it was awesome to see all the subtle easter eggs/references within the build as you go along. All the attention to detail was truly great to see and the value for your money is great, this set is huge! Highly recommend this set to anyone that loves batman or cars in general.

Over all a disappointment
It seems as Lego realizes they have a strong 18+ market, they tend to give up on the innovations. That's not for everything - The Ecto 1, for instance, had some very impressive features, but even that was weak and fell apart easily. The Classic TV series Batmobile is nice and sturdy, especially for the weird angles and fins, but it's nothing special. The only moving part is the trunk opens and it rolls. There's no engine compartment, no spinning lights, not even steerable suspension, which has pretty much become a standard for Lego vehicles. This is literally something to build and put on the shelf. It's nice looking, don't get me wrong, just a little boring.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! We appreciate your feedback and understand your concerns about innovation in our 18+ sets. While we aim to create models that are visually appealing and showcase iconic designs, we also strive to balance complexity and sturdiness. We're glad you found some enjoyment in the Batmobile's aesthetics, and we hope to bring more engaging experiences to our fans in the future!

Great classic batmobile
I purchased this as I love the classic car tv / film set kits. I wasn't disappointed either. Looks just like the 60's Batman car. Not too challenging to build myself but throughly enjoyed assembling it. Looks great with my Ghostbusters Ecto 1.

So Disappointed
I don’t think I’ve ever been so disappointed in a set I’ve purchased, so much so I wish I hadn’t brought it home. First, the stickers - 38 of them, to be exact. And they are tiny labels on tiny pieces and for someone who likes everything to be even, it was arduous. As in NO FUN. Second, I love things that “work.” I enjoyed building the red farm truck and was so happy with the fact that the doors work, the steering wheel controls the front axle, the hood opens to reveal a very spiffy engine. It’s playable beyond the build. This Batmobile however? Nah. First off, the build is rather boring - so many instances of “make 2” or “make 4.” Yawn - didn’t have to look at the instructions half the time. The steering wheel is just positioned onto a stickered console (and falls off easily), a small section of the trunk and hood open, and for something that was supposedly a careful replica, there are no working doors. Some of the later batmobiles didn’t have doors, I guess, but I’d read that this version did. Anyway, it should work. It just should. I went from excited to “bleh.” And just wanted to get it done. It is basically a heavy replica model. Just not impressed. Could have been excellent.

Holy curved bricks, Batman
The techniques in this build are incredible. The curves of this car are beautiful and I can’t believe someone figured out how to do them all! It looks so good!
