Encounter ghostly characters and search for the key to a treasure chest at King Boo’s Haunted Mansion (71436) with this LEGO Super Mario toy playset for kids. A Super Mario themed gift idea for boys, girls and gamers aged 8 and up, this ghost toy set features a buildable toy haunted house that opens out for easy access to playful details such as an elevating sofa and a bookcase with a key-reveal function. fun
greatly enjoyed building this set. though it is sensitive when your trying to put it together (each building except the last bad took me three times as they would slide and break and I would have to restart), I don't regret it. King Boo is one of my favorite Super Mario characters.

Boo-tacular Build! (with one minor flaw…)
My younger son and I really enjoyed this build. He’s getting more and more into Nintendo, Mario, and LEGO, so these sets have been a huge hit for him! The floating couch was a great call back to the Mario video games, and we both really appreciated the Boo and Key contraption! So impressed with the creativity. One bit of feedback— the window lattices could use some work. They’re inconsistent in sizing. Some lattice fit well in the windows, others just barely click in but fall out at the slightest movement of the set, and others literally don’t click at all and fall. We tried mixing and matching but nothing we did would solve the issue. The lattices need to be a bit bigger to properly click in to the window frames. I feel like eventually we’re going to lose these pieces as we play with the set. We were missing one brick from the set. Searched on our hands and knees for almost 30 minutes just in case we dropped it. After looking literally everywhere, I’m convinced the piece was just missing. Nothing that impacts playing with the set, but there is one small hole in the wall of our mansion. We’ve placed an order and hope to receive the replacement soon. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Fun build
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids absolutely love legos and of course this was a perfect Halloween like set. Not overly difficult to build. It was so much fun to build and my son has his Lego sets displayed on shelves on his room. This is another great addition to his collection.

The biggest issue for me was part 6477141 did not fit into part 6398861 and it kept falling out

Fun set
Fun set, except for the grills that keep falling off the windows because they fit too loose. My son still likes to play with, but he keep asking me to fix the windows. I guess he'll eventually learn where to not touch the house for that to happen, but it shouldn't be like that for a set which is made to play.

A lovely set
Really enjoyed the build, having no stickers to apply was a bonus! It’s a cute set, I’ve always loved completely closed builds that open into a play set, I hate the open backed sets. The finished castle looks cute, I think I’ll have to get Princess Peaches castle next. First Mario build for years, the theme has really evolved since the first wave, keep up the good work designers❤️

Best King Boo Set Yet
Great mansion build and love the character selection, even if it's a bit derivative for someone who owns all the Lego Mario sets. The build does get a bit repetitive and confusing, but not too hard.

Spooky fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My spooky-loving 6-year-old and I LOVED building this Lego set together. All the moving parts were a blast to play with once we got the set together. Building this set made us want to buy more of the Mario-themed Lego sets to add onto the collection. Assembly was easy as the book was very clear with picture descriptions, and it took about 2 hours total to complete. Overall, very fun!

The blocks fit together easily and have a nice firm hold. I like the fun look of this haunted mansion. It's got some nice detail in it. I love that the building instructions are easy to understand. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son FREAKED out when he saw this! He is a die hard Mario lover and has a lot of the Mario Lego sets already. I love that these are all compatible with one another so you can build on and make a huge world. I think the new Lego technology is awesome where you can interact with Mario, Luigi, and Peach. And I love how each set comes with a secondary character to play with! They’re very easy to put together with the directions. We will be collecting more!

If you have kids that love video games this is definitely a great way to get them off and away from that screen and have some fun with their hands
