Doug Wilson is a former college baseball player and a member of the Society for American Baseball Research. He is the author of Fred Hutchinson and the 1964 Cincinnati Reds (2010), The Bird: The Life and Legacy of MarkFidrych (2013), Brooks: The Biography of Brooks Robinson (2014), and Pudge: The Biography of Carlton Fisk (2015).
