Doesn't let me use 240hz. It's capped at 144hz even though I am using a display port cable and have even taken LG advice and still not eorking. But picture quality is good

Nice monitor but....... If I could buy again I would probably get something else. For the price I'm not exactly blown away. The options are terrible with little to no explanation of why certain options are greyed out. Especially energy saving mode which i still can't work out how to turn it off as looking at reviews etc the picture becomes much brighter. So half happy at the moment. I'd appreciate if anyone from LG could contact me about this as I cannot seem to get a decent reply

For me this monitor is a gamechanger, hands down on of the best display makers in the market, I bought it back in October 2024, luckily, I got Diwali offer plus some gifts from them and yes, they arrived. Overall, the experience was fantastic so far.

I have been using this monitor with both a high end Windows Laptop and an M4 Mac Mini Pro. It is a great gaming and general use monitor. Note that for HDR you will need to lower refresh rate to 144 or lower even across TB5 connections. The 240hz is only for SDR.

So far so great. Fantastic colors. Deep blacks. Great sharpness of text. No blinky lights when in sleep mode. Good input options. USB hub option. UI / Menu easy to navigate and nice options. Backlight on wall ("hexagon lighting") is subtle and pleasant. Powers back on a little more slowly than the other monitor that's a VA panel, but it's not a problem at all. I'm not a legit gamer but I really do like it so far. Not had any issues with the cleaning mode interfering. Bought on sale on the LG site and that was an easy transaction. Would definitely recommend if you can find it for a reasonable price. Naturally, the definition of reasonableness may vary!

Beautiful monitor. Will have to a higher chair as I keep stretching my neck looking up, lol. So far I'm very satisfied with this high end large monitor. Games look fantastic. The build in led lighting is nice as well.
