The TV is good, but it doesn't come with a functional remote. The remote provided is useless, it's missing all the buttons you need when operating the TV, unless you only use it for streaming. LG only cares about users who want buttons for all the streaming apps and nothing else, if you don't use streaming apps LG doesn't care about you and expects you to work through on screen menus for basic functionality that is normally achieved with a quick remote button press. To make it worse they know that it's a useless remote as they actually provide a proper remote in some markets, unfortunately we live in a country LG doesn't care about. I've had to use an old IR remote, as an IR remote with the buttons needed is still better than a Bluetooth remote without the buttons you need. Extremely poor that a TV costing so many thousands doesn't come with a functional remote.

TV has never looked this good, it’s safe to say I’ve been missing out until now. The colours, omg the colours so vibrant, and let’s not forget the blacks turns out I’ve been thinking that grey is black. The included air remote is great, super easy to use and has easy access to all the major streaming apps. The LG webos software is fantastic as well a step up from other TVs that’s for sure.

The included setup guide came with step-by-step instructions, helpful video links, color-coded tapes, and a paper guide to assist with precise wall placement. It made the whole process seamless, and mounting the TV took less than an hour. The sound is impressive straight out of the box, even without a soundbar, the audio quality is rich and immersive. I did pair it with a soundbar, and the experience became even more cinematic. The picture quality is truly stunning. Watching movies and shows feels like a theater experience. Alexa integration is a fantastic feature, since it makes searching for shows quick and effortless. I also appreciate the design and feel of the remote; it’s just the right size and the buttons are well-placed and responsive. Overall, this is hands down the best TV I’ve ever owned. The picture quality is next level—deep blacks, vibrant colours, and crisp detail make every scene feel cinematic. Even darker films look incredible with the OLED contrast. The sound is surprisingly full and immersive for a TV this slim, so we didn’t even feel the need to add a soundbar. The flush-to-wall design looks sleek and modern, like a piece of art in the living room. Setting up streaming apps and connecting our devices was seamless, with plenty of HDMI ports and fast performance. Plus, it’s great to know it’s energy-efficient for a 77-inch screen. This TV has completely changed how we enjoy our nights in—it’s more than a screen, it’s an experience.

The picture quality is absolutely breathtaking – deep blacks, vivid colors, and incredible clarity that makes everything from movies to gaming look cinematic. The AI enhancements really shine when it comes to upscaling and optimizing content automatically. The design is sleek and modern, and the sound quality is surprisingly powerful even without a soundbar. The smart features are fast and intuitive, and I especially love the built-in streaming apps and how smoothly everything runs. One of my favorite things is the calm, ambient screensaver – it adds a really peaceful vibe to the room when the TV is idle. That said, there are a couple of small annoyances. The cursor on the remote can feel a bit fiddly and overly sensitive – sometimes I just want to navigate with regular buttons without the cursor jumping around. Also, while the calm screensaver is beautiful, it’s slightly annoying that I have to press the power button twice to fully turn off the TV. Once puts it into screensaver mode, and then I have to press again to shut it down completely. Still, those are minor issues compared to how amazing the overall experience is. If you’re looking for a premium large-screen TV that delivers on all fronts – picture, sound, and smart functionality – this LG OLED is worth every cent!

It is very stylish with the brushed metal edges and thin bezels. It’s incredibly bright for an OLED, and that’s great because the OLED has perfect blacks, so any extra brightness you have will be enhance the colors and make the picture even better. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG OLED83G5PSA is a massive 83-inch 4K OLED evo G5 Smart TV that delivers a truly cinematic experience at home. Its standout features include perfect blacks, vibrant and accurate colours, and impressive AI-driven upscaling and picture enhancements. The built-in speakers are decent, and the AI Sound Pro helps enhance clarity, though serious users may want a dedicated sound system (I do not currently have one). The webOS platform is smooth and user-friendly, supported by the intuitive Magic Remote and voice assistants like Google and Alexa. Design-wise, it's sleek with ultra-thin bezels, but the sheer size makes setup a two-person job (thanks to the delivery/installation guys, great job). While it's expensive and may struggle slightly in very bright rooms, it excels in typical home theatre environments. Burn-in risk is minimal thanks to LG’s improvements. The TV Energy Star Rating is a great 5 out of 6 stars. I'm incredibly impressed with this TV. It delivers on its promises of amazing picture quality, a great smart TV experience, and top-notch gaming performance. If you're in the market for a massive, premium TV and you want the best that OLED has to offer right now, the G5 is definitely a contender. It's a TV that will make you want to rewatch all your favourite movies and games just to see them on this screen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially considering getting a Bravia 9 but went to get the G5 instead The picture quality is sharp and clear. The AI function also assists with whatever picture and sound preference you like. Sound-wise, it’s good and also enhances it if you set it to Cinema mode. Connectivity-wise, the Game optimiser makes PS5 games run smoother. Screen is very thin and has a simple stand which is a plus.

The picture and sound are amazing and the ai sound is even cooler than I thought. The tv itself might have too many features and can be hard to navigate to get to what you want. It has its own app as well which is nice. Connects to google so you can stream and it’s very seamless. I like the design and sleek way it sits on the wall like art. Ai controls need some work, doesn’t always understand. Great tv overall, maybe a little pricey.
