Please with the tv, picture is very clear and no longer need to use the stick as the web os covers my streaming requirements. Time will tell if this worth the money. Did not like the warranty registry through domestic and general.

Why isn’t the remote made of metal instead of cheap looking plastic and why isn’t it backlit? In low lighting you cannot distinguish and y buttons and the times I’ve hit the home page trying to turn the volume up and down is annoying because they are set so close together. Very poor thought has gone into this small but very important part of the experience. For a top of the range and not so cheap TV the remote control has been overlooked and looks and feels cheap. I cannot fault the picture at all and it is stunning - the voice control is nigh on worthless as it doesn’t understand any commands so best keep it simple in my opinion. Would I advise you to buy it ? - yes if you want a decent picture and sound but No if you want a remote control which is as high quality as the TV and set out correctly.

LG 77 C5 purchased 1 Aug 25. Wall mount with LG mount. Both are just awesome.Picture is very adjustable to your liking. Sound is excellent for a TV - I didn't find a sound bar necessary. It took 2-3 days to educate myself on all the settings available on this TV. The remote cursor control requires a little practice. I learned to press/hold the bottom of the remote to a fixed object like my leg or a cushion then use it like a joystick- small steady movement translate to fine control of cursor on the screen. Only criticism is the voice feature.

We just bought the TV. Physical installation wasn't bad. But the interface is extremely confusing. I never got the mobile app to work. With difficulty, I downloaded the app for Spectrum (our cable). It doesn't appear on the main screen and is hard to find. We don't use any of the apps on the main screen (Disney, HBO, etc.) We like to stream PBS (Passport) and found out that it is not available on LGs. That weird floating cursor won't go away. CC is hard to access. If we ever find a channel to watch, the picture is fine. All of my complaints are about how difficult it is to use. The AI seems useless. Why are there all those ads for movies or streaming services in the way?

Congrats on your new OLED55C5PUA TV, the WebOS interface can take some getting used to and the floating cursor comes from the Magic Remote’s motion sensor, which you could use the arrow keys to navigate instead. Your Closed Captions can be turned on/off quickly by pressing the settings gear button on the remote, then scrolling down to “Accessibility.” We'd love to lend a helping hand if needed, be sure to reach us @LGUSSupport.
