Q: I noticed based on reviews many people bought this for their 3-4 year olds. Do you think this set is good for 6-8 year olds? Is it something they will play with for more than 1 year at this age?

A: I started buying the little woodzeez sets when my daughter was around 4 . She's 6 and she still plays with them pretty much every day. We are getting her this house for Christmas. I think it's probably more age appropriate for 6-9 year olds than for 3 year olds (although at 4 she did love them) :)

A: There is a single switch on the inside of the pink bay window. It is an on-off toggle switch (lights will not turn off automatically).

A: Yes, we use this with our Calico Critters. They are a perfect fit. I prefer the Li'l Woodzeez furniture and accessories (for cuteness, quality, and price), but we like the Calico Critter animals better (notably higher quality and less portly, so they seem to fit the furniture better).

This house is so cute on the outside. And seemed like a perfect alternative to the much more expensive Calico Critter. The house has two room on one side and three rooms on the other side. The upper room on the side with two rooms is great. All four other rooms are very difficult to use. The problem is the house is very deep but the ceilings are so low that it is difficult to maneuver toys and furniture. Especially near the back of the deep rooms. The lil woodzee bunk beds won’t even fit in any other rooms except the one large room. Because they are too tall. And yet you would think they were designed for this house. So sad. Could have been so nice. House needs to be taller and less deep. I do not recommend.

This house is adorable, but what stood out to me most was the quality. Unlike most of the other toy houses, this one is heavy duty plastic with wonderful detail. It is also space friendly. I bought the Encanto family to use with the house as it is nearly impossible to find toy families anymore and they are a perfect size.
