Q: are these bands one continuous band? I ordered another set and the bands needed to be tied.

A: Hi LR - Thanks for your question! The Lifeline Flat Resistance Band Loops Kit resistance vary as the bands stretch. It is estimated at a 3x elongation the light band is 15lb, the medium is 22lb, and the heavy is 30lb of resistance. I hope this helps!
