A: Thanks for reaching out! The filters in the Go Series are replaceable. The membrane filter would last for 4000 liters of water and will clog when you need to replace it. The smaller carbon capsule needs to be changed every two months since it improves water’s overall smell and taste.

I like this bottle! Makes me feel safe drinking water from almost any source, so it’s especially great for traveling. Just be careful with it on airplanes. The change in air pressure can cause it to bubble and spill water on you. I learned the hard way

Great concept with design flaws.
Love the idea of a filtered water bottle for refilling from drinking fountain and not having to worry about finding bottled water. Drawbacks: it’s heavier than most especially when filled. Impossible to sip, as you must suck hard to get the water. A word of caution, don’t fill to top or use ice or it will overflow. I do love the concept and design. It won’t fit in car cup holder making it difficult to place in automobile.

Love that its available in a bottle now, but i really dont like the straw/suction spout, it holds too much water after you drink, and the spout is a bit gross, you have to insert in your entire mouth, its just lots of work for a sip of water.

Works amazingly well the only thing is if you drop the bottle the outer shell will crack..so be careful. It is worth the money spent for clean drinking water. It should come with a clip so that it can be clipped into a backpack for traveling.

Works well, enjoy how simple it is to use. In the past, I have used different “straws” that required a fair amount of suction for a limited water flow. This one is much more comfortable to use. I have noticed that when I increase elevation that when I try to drink… the water vents out the top, and I get wet. I bought it to decrease my exposures to non TB environmental mycobacteria, and I hope that it as reliable in preventing exposure as is reported. Using daily.

Worked like a charm
Loved the LifeStraw bottles. Used them on a trip to Ecuador and they worked great. Only issue we had was that they leaked on the plane. We unscrewed slightly per the instructions but water kept dripping. So we screwed them on tightly. When we unscrewed the cap ( whether still on the plane it once we landed), water dripped wverywhere
