I bought this a month ago. Great starter goal for kids. I have 6 kids and it can be adjusted quickly and easily for different ages.

It’s was easy to assemble and install.

Overall the hoop functions as expected. It’s easy to adjust and move. Construction on the rim was disappointing, as it was not centered well when welded.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this for Christmas gift to my wife. packaging was very good. set-up was another story. not the easiest to assemble, because U-Tube instruction and paper instruction are different and confusing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I kept reading that assembly for basketball hoops in general (except for those that advertise easy assembly) could be tricky, difficult & time consuming, but I couldn't understand why. Well, now I know! Instructions aren't very clear, they show incorrect number of "holes" or placement for parts etc.... Instructions will indicate to utilize a certain labeled bag, but then you need pieces from a different bag that isn't even referenced under that step! In addition to tools indicated you need in instructions, it is VERY helpful if you utilize a ratchet / socket set especially an air ratchet / socket set! Must have at least 2 adults to put together and about 4 + hours! Not even kidding! We are mechanically savvy, but the directions will confuse you at one point or another. Initially you will think I'm crazy, as the 1st part is simple and goes by quickly, it's not until you get further along that you begin to realize why others have complained about the assembly as well. Overall, once assembled and weighted down, the basketball hoop is great, works as intended and is good quality. Do yourself a favor and figure out where you intend on putting the hoop once assembled and if it is in an area that needs leveling, do that 1st!!! Trust me, you will thank me later! If you plan on moving the unit in the future, don't weigh with sand, use water or gel product commonly sold online. If you live in a climate that gets cold, consider antifreeze with water for base (even though Lifetime indicates you don't need anti-freeze, better safe than sorry!) If you aren't mechanically inclined, hire someone to assemble!!!

I just purchased a portable basketball hoop. Went together relatively easily and just had one of the net hooks on the rim break off. Just one call and a replacement rim is on its way!

Recently bought the 50" portable adjustable basketball hoop system - excellent. Unfortunately the backboard was separated from the frame on delivery. Laryn understood the issue, and processed a replacement quickly with friendly service. Many thanks!

In this day and age, it unfortunately feels the customer is on his own if something goes wrong after the sale. This is definitely not the case with Lifetime! Product have a great size (in general) for a kid, teen or adult. The board is little unstable, but not a big deal. Most useful functionality is the height adapt feature, is quite easy to use that is impressive.

I got this used basketball hoop for my 8-year old daughter and our whole family enjoys it. It was easy to move around and appears to be durable. We like adjusting the height for our kid and her friends to practice. The base is solid when you put water in it. Be careful when there isn't water or some weight on the base as the pole and hoop will tip. It helps to have two people set it up or position it. Customer service was great. I was missing one plug drain and looked all over the Internet to buy one. No luck. I contacted customer service and they responded promptly and helped me get one. Overall, my daughter and all her friends love shooting around. I never heard of Lifetime products before but I was impressed with their quality and customer service

The young woman I spoke with from Utah was absolutely outstanding. Please hire more people like her!

I bought this product 8 years ago. Been great. 2 poles got bent contacted the company to get a replacement cost. And they sent them for free. Definitely will buy another when the time comes to replace the system

Our Family has really enjoyed the portability and have many hours of fun basketball games with our Courside shatterproof hoop.
