Lifetime Playset Anchor Kit (90641)

We live on a ridge and get straight line winds all the time. With our playset grounded using these anchors it has not moved at all in 4 years!!! With proper installation these are 100% worth the price and peace of mind. We are moving the playset this month and I’m ordering a new pack in case we need them and to anchor down our trampoline too.

Serves a purpose but way overpriced. Many cheaper options.

The bolts were way too long to use on the playset that linked to this product. I cut 1-1/4 inch from the bolts and cut new threads before installing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swing set came with 2 anchors and we wanted to add more so we purchased this anchor kit 6 months ago and couldn't be happier. After 6 months of use they have done what they are intended to do and kept the swing set firmly in place with multiple kids playing on it. We ordered the monkey bar adventure swing set and the 2 anchors are good but the set lifted up but the 6 anchors took care of the issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this anchor kit for my Lifetime swingset, 290038 Heavy Duty Metal A-Frame. Just looking at this item, I wasn't sure how good of a job it would do but Hurricane Ian just came through with at least 70-90 mph winds gusts at my house on the east coast of Florida, and the swingset didn't budge. I have impact windows (no need for hurricane shutters) so I was able to keep an eye on the swing throughout the storm. I was very impressed. Highly recommend.

The anchors seem to help stabilize the swing set when two big kids (over 100+ lbs) are swinging together.

Easy to install and very secure anchoring system. The components are well machined and fit our swing set nicely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These anchors were extremely hard to get into the ground. The metal pole broke after installing the second anchor. I am unable to install the last two. The nuts are very tiny and made it hard to tighten the cable. Me and husband worked together and it was still difficult. However, We love the Lifetime swingset!

they're pretty good but not perfect, we were able to get them nice and tight but when the ground is wet they allow enough movement that I feel like we will need to put stone under the swing legs

Even after being anchored well into the ground, the swing set still lifts off the ground. This causes the children on the swings to feel insecure. For such a hefty and expensive swing set, one would think that the anchors would be more secure.

Did not work. Doesn’t anchor at all. Pops right out of the ground.

The anchors hold well, but the metal bar that you push the anchors into the ground with is made of a soft metal and got bent to the point that we could not use it on the last anchor. We improvised. It's just been a couple of weeks, we will have to wait and see how they hold up.
