I have the bigger, more lifelike version of the inflatable dolphin. It is the bottlenose dolphin ride on version. I named it Flipper, after the dolphin in the movies, the original version which was a TV series in the '60s and the 1990s movie remake. His dorsal fin is more triangular than a real dolphin, he is still amazingly lifelike. I have him because of a memory of seeing real bottlenose dolphins, swimming at a zoo, when I was nine years old. It is fun to blow a lot of air inside Flipper and listen to the air filling him up. He has three air valves for his body and his flippers themselves. It is fun to pretend blowing his flippers up, is just like a mom or dad helping their kid swim by putting water wings on their arms and blowing the wings up. He needs his flippers blown up, so he can swim, just like water wings. But then, the best part, is to relax with Flipper, hug him, and enjoy him. Flipper is a true friend, and I love him.
