Linen Shine Overtufted Area Rug Gray/Ivory - Threshold™

This rug sheds non stop. I have had the rug for almost 4 months now and it has not stopped shedding.

We put this 5x7 overtufted linen rug in our guest bedroom. It looks great. The grey and ivory colors are very neutral and would look good in a variety of settings. The rug itself is thick and very cushioned. We are impressed with the quality.

Do not buy this rug!!! I have had it for two month and the chemical smell is still over powering. The fibers from the rug shed continuously and make a mess.

This is a nice rug - but mine is a much lighter shade of gray than in the picture. Also - not a very kitty friendly rug. Their claws get caught just walking over the rug.

This rug looks very nice, but I really wish we could return it. After it had been on our floor for about 3 days, it started shedding like crazy. Tiny pieces of thread from the rug are covering every inch of our house. Loose pieces hang from the rug, stretched out and longer than the rest before they eventually end up somewhere else in our house. It has created a sea of white fluffy dust bunnies everywhere. They stick to our socks, they stick to our blankets, they stick to our couch. This rug is in our living room, and you can find pieces of it in every single room, including upstairs. It's maddening and requires constant vaccuuming. Because of this shedding, it looks tattered and worn and we've barely owned it very long. I've been searching for a replacement, and will probably donate this one or offer it for free online.

Sheds fibers nonstop. I have vacuumed it at least a dozen times and there's fibers everywhere. It doesn't look like the photo either. Very silvery and not what I expected.

This is a beautiful overtufted rug with thick pile. At first I thought there was some sort of powder on it due to the shine on parts of it. I am a little concerned with the quality and how long it is going to last. Every time I vacuum it, the canister is filled with fluff from the rug. Little pieces of thread are being found all over it daily. It’s a perfect centerpiece for my daughter’s room though and will be well used.

I recently got this rectangular area rug for my room and it is perfect! I love the pattern and the grey and ivory colors throughout the rug as it goes great with just about any decor. The rug itself is amazing quality! The fabric is super soft. The cotton backing keeps the rug in place. As we were looking for a new area rug to spice up the house, this five feet by seven feet rug from the Threshold brand was a great opportunity. We got the gray/ivory colored version, works perfectly with our home color and decoration themes. While we do enjoy the new rug, it appears that our house cat took a particular affection to it. Fortunately, for now she seems to refrain scratching it, she just rolls over and relax for some catnaps. Love walking barefoot or in socks on the rug, it feels comfy and warm.

Threshold 5 x 7 Linen Shine Overtufted Area Rug is a beautiful area rug and pictures definitely don't do it justice! This area rug is a gray and ivory color but has a shine to it. It is a overtufted loop cut and soft and cushiony with a medium pile so that it is soft on the feet. It is made of a wool blend and has a cotton backing and stays in place. The design makes it have depth and looks great with our gray furniture. This rug will look good in any room and with same color decor. Very nice heavy duty rug. It is soft and does not slip on floors. It’s a great size for almost any area in the house. The kids even enjoy sitting on it playing on floor. All in all this is a fantastic rug that is versatile for any room in our house.

This is the perfect addition to complete my living room. This feels nice and soft on my feet. The carpet is soft yet firm. Color and pattern are a nice balance between dark and light. Holds up well with my carpet cleaner.
