A: Yes but the risk is low if handled correctly. Fire can occur if the battery is damaged, short-circuited, exposed to high heat, or improperly used. It is a rare situation and usually only happen when the user does not properly handle the units.

Works fine while it lasts
This was gifted to us a while back. My son really enjoyed it and it worked great but the plastic is so thin that the back easily cracked, which led to it inevitably cracking right down the middle and unable to repair. Won’t be buying a replacement and will probably go with a magna doodle that is more sturdy for about the same price.

Very cheaply made. Fragile.
Very very very cheaply made! This would not withstand a toddler. It bends easily, meaning a toddler can snap it half easily. When you draw anything, little dots appear as if there is dust or tiny particles under the screen. The black edge is glued on & is already lifting. You can see in the picture the actual screen is lifting and making the screen show color. In the picture you can see how easily it bends. Got it on sale & it still isn’t worth that price.

Toddlers will love it!
This works wonders when you have things to do and are trying to keep a toddler busy. The colors show up nicely and easy enough to use for a 2 year old to delete and start again. My only problem is she lost the pen but there's other random things she uses to keep using it.

Lots of fun
This is perfect for everything from drawing, playing games like tic tac toe and hangman, to learning on. It’s great for car rides and traveling too. My 6 1/2 year loves it. I enjoy it too. I’m very impressed.

Very Cool Drawing Pad!
I bought this on a whim because I liked the concept. I'm really impressed by the responsiveness of the screen when drawing and clearing the screen. It is very lightweight and will be perfect for long car rides or even as a way to keep my kids entertained while running errands. It is also a fun way to teach my daughter how to spell - she loves to push the delete button! I have seen a lot of other options for something like this but love the simplicity of this pad.
