Q: How many tea bags would it take to make 1 gallon of tea?

A: Don't know..I make mine weak,with 1/2 gallon pitcher at a time with 1 bag,not steeped ,just boiled.Don't like instant most restaurant kinds.
submitted byJIMMY - 9 years agoA: Depends on how strong you like your tea. If you are going for iced tea you need to brew a stronger tea. You could always brew 1 tea bag per cup. So a gallon would be 16 bags, at this strength you could add ice and not lose flavor. To save money, I would brew 8-12 bags, depending on the strength you desire steep for a little longer. My basic formulas that I use to save tea are: #cups÷2=#bags for hot tea (#cups÷2)+(#cups÷4)=#bags for cold tea Sorry if this is confusing

So I was very excited to try this product! This tea is minty but not that overwhelming flavor that would remind a tooth paste. This one combines so well with the lemon peels, the flavor is very citrusy, light and fresh! The aroma is great too! I have been loving having one cup of this tea just before bed time!

You can have it warm and cold! During the day & at night. I’ve always been a fan of Lipton, so I knew I’d love this one. I like the tangy mintness flavor it leaves in my mouth. It doesn’t taste artificial like other teas. I will definitely repurchase!

The ingredients listed licorice and thats much more noticeable than the ginger. Even though it says theres a lemon flavor, I found that the flavor was improved with a lemon wedge. Overall tastes good and its so sweet naturally it doesnt need sugar.

I had a nasty cough and sore throat, and this was the only thing that actually made me feel human again. The aroma hits you right when you open the box—bright lemon with just enough ginger kick to let you know it means business. Flavor-wise, it’s smooth, not overpowering, and actually enjoyable (rare for “medicinal” teas). The brewing instructions are simple—steep it for a few minutes and you’re good. The individually wrapped bags make it easy to toss a couple in my bag, and honestly for the price, it feels like a solid deal for the comfort you get. I went through half the box in a week and now keep it stocked. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who doesn’t want to sound like a dying seal when they’ve got a cough.

I really appreciated being able to have multiple cups of this and not being bored by the bright flavors! It’s delicious both hot and cold as well. I love the newer packaging look a lot as well. I will definitely buy these again. In the future and they made me want to try more new tea bag flavors from Lipton! I typically just buy the black tea, but now i will definitely have to branch out! I would highly recommend these for anyone that enjoys tea and it’s great for those that can’t have caffeine as these lemon mint ones are herbal as well!

Every sip smells refreshing and tastes minty with a cool sensation while you’re drinking. Great for days when you may have a sore throat. This tea is caffeine free so you don’t have to feel guilty indulging before bed. I honestly think right before bed is the perfect time to drink it. I do have to say though I don’t get much Lemon Peel but it does taste just like any generic spearmint gum. Pretty tasty if you like minty drinks.
