I just purchased after having a previous model for over 10 years. This seems cheaply made. Nothing snaps in place to prevent pieces coming off. The piece that slides in to prevent odors to come out just slides in and out where the older model is spring loaded making is close automatically.

I previously had an XL litter genie and the divider to dispose of cat excrement into bag where you slide it out was better than the new one I just got. The older one had a spring like divider that was better.

I thought using a small garbage pail with a lid would be the same thing. It’s not! I was doing everything from lighting candles to spraying disinfectant and nothing worked longer than a couple hours for odor, until the next time my cats went again. Litter Genie works lime a charm!

This is good but it isn’t that well made but it serves a purpose. The refills are expensive I had to replace the one I bought but it lasted around 3 years but it broke and was hard to use even though I still did I realized I needed another one.

I just purchased The new version of the Little genie and the quality is worse than the previous version. The older litter genie got better and the new Little genie it is hard to keep closed and the handles not in any good possession to lift. Also, I've had numerous issues trying to open the refills because the plastic pole tag it's not made properly in manufacturing and I usually have to open with a knife because I cannot open it with my hands. I called this issue with the refills sending numerous photos of the serial number and they could not read because The stamping ink quality is The same color as the refill plastic and unable to after numerous attempts. So I gave up also the price of these cheap refills. Ridiculous. When I can just use Garbage? Can a grocery bag.

This is my first time ever using a litter genie and I absolutely love it. It really locks in the smell and easy to add bags once it’s out. It comes with a built in blade so you can cut the bag easily which is something that surprised me. 10/10
