Nice, but NO Shepherd...What???

made well...Finally isn't all white skin and blonde...Jesus was a jew as well as Mary and Joseph....so not blonde and blue-eyed...wise men are great, but no shepherd and no option to buy separetly....why 2 donkey's and not a shepherd???

Bring back the shepherd, please

The set is adorable- it always has been. But I am curious as to why the shepherd has been removed. The shepherds play a pivotal part in Jesus’ birth story. As a matter of fact, if you read the Bible, the wisemen aren’t even in the nativity- or there at Jesus’ birth. They come later. While it’s a tradition to include them, it’s also tradition to include the shepherds- at least one! In Luke 2, the angel announces the birth to shepherds watching their flocks that night. They ran to see the baby, and then told others. Please consider remaking the shepherd. For churches who use your adorable set, the shepherd is often talked about and we would love to have him/her included!

I own two sets, one for home and one for Sunday School. I wish shepherds were available to complete the Nativity.
