A: Thank you for the question, Yes, the Loctite Ultra Gel Control can be used on wood.
A: The Ultra Super Glue Control Gel can be used on fabric. However, please make note of the follow: In the case where the Super Glue makes contact to a very porous substrate (e.g. fabrics, cotton, tissue, paper towels, etc.) the glue soaks into the substrate which now has a lot of surface area available for the glue to start polymerization - much more than if the glue is applied to a nonporous material like plastic. The increase in surface area starts the polymerization, and the generation of heat increases the rate of polymerization enough so that some vapor (sometimes referred to as "smoke") can be released from the glue. This is normal depending upon the amounts of glue in contact with the fabric. There is no risk of the glue catching on fire and the smoke/vapor observed is not a result of anything burning but rather the cyanoacrylate glue vapor being released. In some instances, the heat generation may cause a burn if skin contact is made to the fabric.
A: Hi It333, The maximum temperature the Loctite Ultra Gel Control Super Glue can be exposed to is 180°F
A: Hi Susan, The Loctite Ultra Gel Control would not be recommended for adhering bathroom tiles to the wall.
