Description

For hard-to-reach surfaces, Loctite Longneck Bottle Super Glue features an extra-long precision tip for controlled application. Loctite Longneck Bottle Super Glue dries transparent and sets in seconds for invisible repairs with no clamping required. This “finger friendly” bottle ensures no mess and allows for a continuous flow or a precise drop of glue. It has an easy-open cap with a metal pin that cleans and seals the nozzle for a clog-free performance. Formulated to fix any breaks around the home or office, this ethyl cyanoacrylate super glue works quickly and effectively on a variety of surfaces and materials including: leather, cork, paper, cardboard, wood, chipboard, fabric, metal, ceramic, rubber and hard plastics such as acrylic, polycarbonate, polystyrene and PVC. Great for DIY projects, Loctite Super Glue can be used to repair figurines, costume jewelry, cameras, toys, metal car parts, wiper blades, rubber seals and O-rings. This unique liquid formula dries clear and colorless without clamping and resists moisture, most chemicals, and freezing temperatures. Does not bond to Polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), silicone or foam rubber, polystyrene foams, glass, or pure bone china.

    Worked on carpet and porcelain lamps

    This was used to fix carpet that had been worn out in a few high-traffic areas. We just cut out several of the old fibers, affixed and blended the new ones to the carpet base using tweezers and it worked like a charm. Held together even after carpet cleaning. We also used this a few years ago to fix a porcelain lamp that had been shattered in a move. We held the glued pieces in place for 30 seconds and let sit for 24 hours. The cracks weren't noticeable and the lamp made lasted another two moves. I've tried Scotch and Gorilla, and neither worked as well as Loctite for me.
