This bed is very cute and exactly what I was looking for but unfortunately it has such a terrible chemical smell to it that I am going to have to repaint it or dispose of it. The smell was obvious upon opening the box. I kept all the pieces outside for over two weeks trying to get the smell off it. Unfortunately, even now when you open the bedroom door, the chemical smell hits you direct in the face. I can’t have my granddaughter sleep in this bed. I don’t feel it’s safe.

I made the mistake of not reading the reviews first… this bed smells so bad. Very strong chemically smell and missing parts. Definitely returned once before and I can see why. Do not buy. Returning ASAP

Just like the other reviews say, this frame smells incredibly bad and gives me a headache. I feel so incredibly bad having my toddler sleep in this the past few nights and I'm paranoid I've exposed her to something awful. I don't know what to do now. We just moved and don't have the money to just buy another.

Smells of glue

This bed frame wrecks of glue and has some fumes coming from it. We have washed it set in garage to air out but I’m not putting my child on something that is still off gassing weeks after we bought, opened it, and assembled it. Since it’s opened and assembled it’s not returnable. What a waste!!

The bed is so cute but we couldn’t use it due to the incredibly strong chemical smell. It was so strong it made our whole house smell. We had to return because I definitely don’t feel comfortable having my toddler sleep on it with it reeking of chemicals. Very disappointing!

This bed is very cute. Didn't take long to put together. My child loves it. However, I cannot let him sleep on it because of the incredibly strong chemical smell that still stinks up the room. We bought it on 4/16, and today is 5/3. We put it on the porch for a couple days because it was filling the house with the smell. Even still, 2 weeks later, we can't use it.

This bed is so cute and we wanted to keep it but it smelled had such a heavy chemical smell even though it is "green guard certified". We put it in a separate room with the window open to air it out for days and even put it outside a few days. The smell was still just as strong. We returned the bed.

UNBEARABLE TOXIC ODOR

we were so excited for this bed, as it looked just like what we were looking for. we were not entirely surprised when we opened the box and it had a smell-- we thought, "hey, it's a new piece of furniture.. this smell shouldn't last too long" NOPE. we built the bed, a few hours later we let our toddler try it out and take his nap in it (windows wide open, because we noticed the room started smelling worse gradually) by the time our toddler was awake from his nap, the ENTIRE HOUSE SMELLED SOOOOO TOXIC WE HAD A SLIGHT HEADACHE. read on internet to let it "off gas" outdoors in dry weather to aid with the smell. The bed has now been getting taken out to our backyard every morning since March 11. ALMOST 20 DAYS LATER. still smells. will be returning, as this has been so frustrating.
