Q: Why are your refills not in metal bottles as well? It would seem more environmentally friendly to move the pump from one metal bottle to the next. Metal is infinitely recyclable while plastic certainly is not. Is this all just a marketing ploy?

In labeling our products, we follow the guidelines established by the International Nomenclature for Cosmetics Ingredients (INCI) process. Therefore, if we use an ingredient derived from a grain such as wheat, oat, rye and/or barley, those names will appear on the label. Q: How does a plastic refill bottle save the use of any plastic? Wouldn't this just generate the same amount of waste as purchasing any 32 oz plastic bottle of shampoo?

A: Thanks for reaching out - We use plastic in our bottles that has previously has been used (for example, as a water bottle). This plastic is collected by recyclers and cleaned. We then purchase this plastic to mold our bottles. 80% of our product portfolio is made from 100% PCR (post-consumer recycled plastic) packaging and is 100% recyclable. Plus it cuts back on having to buy more smaller bottles.

Like with one dislike! Dislike target for not keeping this item available to your customers! It is a great item and certainly better than all the others. Leaves my hair feeling super clean with a fresh, light scent I really enjoy. though I wish it were a little stronger. I've been using it consistently for the past two weeks and it’s holding up beautifully! Gentle on my scalp and doesn't strip my hair. A solid addition to my routine!

Now I have used a few different of their shampoos and conditioners and one thing that I don't like about their shampoo is it does not foam up very well in your hair you have to use a good bit of it but after I wash it it feels really clean and it makes my hair look really great but other than the non foaming up the other benefits outweigh that

I absolutely love this brand. I love that it’s more natural and sulfate free. BUT, I gave it three stars because my hair always feels extra greasy and not clean after using this. Which I am so sad about cause I love this shampoo. The smell is AAAAAMAZING too. Just wish it made my hair feel clean :(

BRING BACK THE BAR!
This gets 4 stars because I am a huge fan of this shampoo it is fantastic for my fine hair and smells like a DREAM. My husband can’t keep his face out of my hair, lol… but, I hate the plastic bottle waste. Which is exactly why I loved the shampoo bar version of this that came in a card-stock box. I was very sad when I ran out of my stocked up bars and came to find that this isn’t even selling at Target whatsoever anymore and you get an error message when you try to click on it in past orders. Poor decision on their part honestly. Just because you’re selling kitsch bars now? Not all of us enjoy that ridiculous price point for ONE bar. Brb while I go learn how to friggin make shampoo now after learning how to make detergent when Amazon sorely disappointed. BRING BACK THE BAR, BRING BACK THE BAR!!

Love this product
I really love your products, specially this one. it leaves my hair smooth, clean, and smelling amazing I have thick long hair and I do work in Marijuana cultivation so I get pretty sticky and smell outrageous with the smell but using this shampoo and conditioner makes it "brand new" wish I can buy in a refill or in a set would be nice. Thank you for this love love love it.

The best shampoo for my hair!
I have been using Love Beauty & Planet for many years. I ultimately chose this brand because it has the best ingredients and it is reliable. This is the only brand that I will use because it doesn't damage my hair! My hair always stays healthy and it smells good as well.
