The Love To Dream Swaddle UP is the original & innovative swaddle that allows your baby to sleep with arms up! Babies naturally sleep with their arms up when you place them on their backs. Traditional swaddling binds their arms across their chest or at their sides. When babies wake up and want to self-soothe, they need to have access to their hands to rub their cheeks or put their hands in their mouth. This helps your baby to quickly settle & establish an easy & peaceful sleep routine. Our ergonomic shape and specifically engineered 360° stretch fabric helps reduce the risk of swaddling too tight, insuring you have the right fit for your infant. The Swaddle UP applies gentles, even pressure around the body which may help settle your baby. Most importantly, your baby stays settled and swaddled all night long - which means more sleep for you too! Available in 3 sizes - Newborn: 5-8.5lbs, Small: 7-13lbs, Medium: 13-18.5lbs.
When we first brought our baby home she slept the whole night not a problem then after her first month here came the sleepless nights she would be in and out of her sleep so much as if she was fighting her sleep my baby just turned two months old and i was desperate so i found this and saw all the good reviews it was too good to be true but i put this on my baby and she fell asleep for hours I finally got some sleep the best sleep i have had ! As a new mommy i definitely recommend this
I love this swaddle! I bought SO many different brands of swaddles for my little one to see what the best fit was, and this one is by far his favorite. He loves sleeping with his arms up naturally, and with the zip, he isn't constantly fighting the swaddle. I love not having to re-swaddle him constantly at night because he's wiggled his arms out at night.
The “startle reflex” made it very difficult to lay our son down for naps and at bedtime. This swaddle up has greatly improved his sleeping. and when initially laying him down. A regular swaddle would make him angry because he couldn’t move his arms at all; he never gets angry in the swaddle up bc he can still move his arms.
This is a great alternate to traditional swaddles. Quality is great and i like the concept. Unfortunately it didn't work for my newborn but I wouldn't blame it on the product itself. It was worth a try for the price. Runs a little small because it's supposed to fit snug so I would up the size if you want to use for a little while.
As soon as I zipped our newborn (3-day old) daughter in her SwaddleUp (I mean immediately!) she settled and closed her eyes. Far better than the traditional swaddle she was in at the hospital. It really does seem to suppress waking from the startle reflex - it lets them startle (a necessary thing, for sleep safety, I think) but it calms it quickly, or so it has for us, going on 5 weeks now. I love the bottom zip-up for quick nighttime diaper checks and changes, too. Also they're really cute. Although she's only 5-weeks and 8.5 pounds, she is long and is already wearing the medium (and the small after she spits up on the medium). Go by length for sizing.
