Lume Whole Body Invisible Cream Tube Deodorant - Lavender Sage - 2.2oz

I was very skeptical…. BUT… my new job has me running around like a chicken with my head cut off and requires me to wear dress clothes. 🙄 By the end of the day… 🤢 I can’t even be around myself I smelled like an animal cage. SO… I thought I definitely had what it takes to test this product. I got the tangerine smell 1st. It smells like a funky tangerine when I put it on, I thought it was horrible!! HOWEVER….my kids said I smelled like a Lollipop after a hard days work… which is way better than smelling like a petting zoo! NEXT… I tried the lavender sage. It smells like funky lavender sage when I put this on… 🥴 it doesn’t smell good at all BUT…it keeps me from smelling bad. 👍🏼 Not sure how it works but as far as I can tell two negatives makes a positive. Animal cage + funky lume = a not smelly me! I will keep buying this… hopefully others will too, so it can go down in price. It’s extremely expensive.

The Lavender Sage scent is sickening. Was telling my friends it smelled like cheese or a “behind” and now after reading these other reviews I know i’m not crazy. Returning asap :(

I love the Lume products, but I ordered the Lavender Sage scent to try, and to me it smells like a bathroom deodorizer.

Wow does this work. It stops chafing it keeps you odor free. This version is my favorite smell it’s hard to describe it smells like grass or outside plants I love it.

I’ve tried a different scent, from Lume a couple years ago, and it was nice. I can’t use it during the summer in Florida, because it’s not an antiperspirant and therefore does nothing to stop sweating. It’s a great deodorant for winter months though, and gives me a break from antiperspirant chemicals. I decided to try the lavender sage cream, and omg, it’s terrible! I was wondering if it was just me maybe it doesn’t mix well with my body chemistry or what lol. I only use on my armpits. When I peeled the foil cover off the tube, and gave it a whiff, I initially smelled the lavender scent, but the after scent is very putrid smelling! Trying to find the right word to describe… it reminds me of when my dog rolled on something dead in the yard…. THAT smell! I’m not kidding. I went against my better judgement, and still applied some to my armpits lol, I know, I know, WHY? Lol! It smelled OK at first, but then a few minutes later, that funky undertone smell came through, the smell of roadkill. I would not recommend the lavender. I’m hesitant to try another scent after this experience. I decided to come read the reviews to see if anyone else complained about it, and yep! I see there are others saying the same thing. They are all current reviews from October, I just got mine last week, ordered from Target. Could it be a bad batch perhaps? I am so disappointed. And this stuff is not cheap. 😔 I don’t know if the Lune people read these reviews on Target, but I’m thinking I’ll contact them direct because I’m certain there’s something wrong with the Lavender Sage, with so many people saying it smells funky. I love lavender/sage scent, but it’s that strange other secondary smell that hits you. Oof.

I was skeptical to see how a natural deodorant would hold up when I’m chasing after two kids in the Arizona sun. I was so pleasantly surprised. Goes on so easy and doesn’t leave me sticky. Smell is neutral and keeps the odor at bay.

I love love love this deodorant. I’m highly prone to sweating and sometimes that crashes and makes me musty. Plus i’m so tired of that residue everywhere on my clothes, so i tried this! first time i applied at night after a fresh shower and it worked.. so i tested it for my work day and i haven’t smelled ANYTHING the last couple of days.

I absolutely love Lume. I have been wearing it for almost 2 years now. I really like this new sent. To be completely honest the vanilla was hands-down my favorite and I wish they would bring it back.

Listen, I've tried EVERYTHING in my 63 years here on earth. From foot powders to odor absorbing foot inserts, NOTHING worked. Decided to finally give LUME a try (at the insistance of my wife), and, guess what? NO MORE smelly feet when i take my shoes off! Look, I don't know about the 72 hour claim (who the heck only takes showers every 72 hours), all I know is, I go to work, come home, and, no more BAD foot odor. Thank you, and, my wife thanks you!

Doesn’t work as advertised. I bought 2 different ones. Sweat goes right through them. I don’t sweat a lot

I love Lume! It works just as advertised. Lavender Sage is my new favorite, but I like Clean Tangerine, too. I also love the wipes - I am never without them.

I am so disappointed that the lavender sage lume' smelled horrible. I had to jump in shower to wash it off immediately. 😩 Very gross smelling!

The smell has a strong odor of spoiled milk, it overpowers the lavender scent. Still applied after showering hoping maybe the fowl spoiled milk sent would dissipate but it did not. The cream did easily wash off with soap and water, will definitely not purchase this product again.

Oh NO!! The Lavender Sage Whole Body Deodorant literally has that scent you are actually trying to prevent! Like one other reviewer said, "It smells like UNWASHED behind! Yuck, yucky!!

I don’t know if it was the sense that I got, but it did not cover my body odor. It did not work for me.
