Description
Controlling lights, shades, and temperature from a mobile device has never been easier or more reliable. The Lutron smart bridge allows for setup, control, and monitoring of Caseta wireless dimmers and Serena remote controlled shades from a smartphone, tablet, and even your Apple Watch wearable. The Lutron smart bridge also works with select Honeywell thermostats, Logitech Harmony remotes, and Apple Home kit. Schedule lights to adjust automatically based on the time of day, or create your favorite scenes that adjust multiple lights and shades with the press of a button. Enable geo fencing to automatically turn your lights on/off when you leave or approach home, or to notify you that you left your lights on. Installation is easy the dimmers simply plug into standard outlets and allows you to control up to 2 lamps per dimmer. I bought a couple of these because it was cheaper than just getting the plug in dimmer modules alone, and I needed 4. I gave the extra bridge to a friend, and installed a On-Off switch to automate his porch lights, as his in wall timer switch died. I have one of the dimmers in a cabinet to control my counter top LEDs. One is for my nightstand lamp, and two are on living room lamps across the room from each other. I like that I can pair the two living room lamps to one Pico. I have a pico on my end table and mounted one to the wall by the front door by adding a longer switchplate and using the wall mount kit. The bedroom pico is on a dual pedestal with my fan control, and the kitchen pico is also mounted to the wall in a triple gang configuration. These are convenient, but very expensive. I'm replacing Insteon dimmers which were far less money. These also do not dim as low with some of my lighting, causing flickering on some of them at low levels

This system is easy to set up if you are tech savvy. You need to understand what a router is and how to plug the Caseta Smart Hub into it and have a smart phone that you can download the Caseta app to in order to set up the plug-in dimmers and use it to manage the lights connected to the dimmers. The best thing is that you can turn lights off and on from the app so you don't need to be near the switch. With the plug-in dimmers no electrical wiring changes are required.

The app is very easy to set up and guides you through the setup for the plug ins and remotes. I currently have it on 2 lamp in 2 different rooms. I love having the remote and dimmer. The only thing I don’t like is having to keep the bridge plugged into the router.

What an amazing device for someone disabled, elderly or just in need of a convince to make life easier. I was intimidated by the directions bit installation was easy and the packaging shows you exactly what comes with so you can view everything. I installed in my living room and have 2 lamps, it’s great because we don’t have any other lights in that room and this is an easy way to turn everything on with an app!

This is exactly what we have been looking for. The setup was really pretty simple, we love that we can put our lamps on a timer so we don’t even have to worry about them. We also have them set up through our iPhone home app so we can control them with our phone or watch. Right now we have our Christmas tree on one outlet and it’s been great!

It comes with 2 lamp dimmers, 2 remotes and pedestals, a smart bridge and a free download for the Lutron app. You can use it on table or floor lamps. And it works with LEDs, incandescent light bulbs, and halogen lightbulbs.

First I should mention, I also have Caseta dimmer control for ceiling lights. Comparing the two, this one is (of course) so much easier to set up!! This came with two switches (which makes for plugging in 4 lamps, 2 on each) and one smart bridge (it easily connects to router). The set up was as simple as plugging it in, connecting via the app was the only thing that took a little bit of time. One of my pictures shows where I was left idling for awhile (I thought I had done something wrong, so if you stay on that screen for a bit—don’t worry!) Once connected, the app walks you through the pairing. I have one hooked up to my village lights (not exceeding wattage) and so I have easily scheduled the lights to come on and off. I love it and will switch to lamp use after the holidays! 10/10!

This lamp dimmer kit is easier to use than I thought it would be. I was intimidated at first, but it just involves plugging things in and downloading the Lutron app. I was able to get it up and running on an old table lamp. You do need dimmable light bulbs, but that's an easy fix to utilize the convenience of this kit. I love how small and modern looking all the parts included are.

This is SO easy. It takes 3 steps to set up. The only reason that I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is my cat. He realized that the system is easy enough for him to use. It’s creepy when your lamps turn on in the middle of the night.

The system is nicely packaged and the packaging serves as part of the instructions, showing you which pieces to open and set up first. Set up was simple via the Lutron app. My favorite part of these smart plugs and the Lutron Caseta system, in general, is that they can be controlled through a smartphone, via a voice assistant, and/or a physical switch. This flexibility makes it easy for guests to control the lighting in a way that is familiar to them (no training required).

I really like to have a dimmer feature on my lights, especially with the colder temperatures and this set up allows this. I’m am by no means an expert electrician but if you give yourself plenty of time and follow the directions the set up is do- able. Seems heavy duty and well made and I expect this to last a long time in our home!

This is a good device to be able to add existing lights to a home automation setup. It has a centralized hub so each device doesn't need a difficult configuration but can just be paired. The look at this item is pretty modern and pretty straight forward for the buttons on each component. The initial setup was very easy, which just required it to be plugged into the router (in my case, a switch), and downloading the app. Once the app is installed and registration completed, you are walked through a simple setup for each item. The remotes can be paired with any device you want and are not tied to one outlet. Pros: Simple Setup Range is pretty good Can handle multiple lamps on each plug Dimmable Cons: There is no way to configured an outlet not to be dimmable if the bulb is not dimmable.,

This was a little confusing at first to set up, but once I read the directions we set our lamps up quickly. It works great, I like that I am able to have the App on my iPhone to control my 2 bedroom lamps. I would definitely recommend. I know it has to connect to my Alexa- but haven’t connected it yet.

OMG! I love this thing. I'm new to dimmer switches, and this thing is super nice. I love being able to control the lighting levels as needed. I can dim the lights, or I turn then right on or off. It comes with a remote, and has an app that you can use, which is super convenient for me! How can you go wrong with this... The video support is a plus and makes things super easy!

Surprisingly great. I love that while it uses an app, it doesn't rely on one. We loved being able to convert our bedroom light to be dimmable, which is great when we are getting the kiddo for bedtime. Its a fantastic starter kit to maximize the efficiency of your lighting setting without having to buy smart outlets or bulbs one by one. I don't know if it was luck but we didn't have to buy any new LED lights, the ones already in our lamps worked to dim.

You receive two dimmers, a smart bridge and have to download an app. Box also says two remotes and pedestals but there weren't any in this set. I did get them to work with the app. Also says it works with Apple homekit, not a clue, never heard of it. Remote says you can turn lights off with one touch on box. You can dim the lights and it has a smart timer built in that adjusts with the season.Works with LED, Incandescent and Halogen bulbs. Varying watts from 150W to 600/w dependi g on type of bulb. Works with wall and ceiling lights.

For ages, we have had the old plug in light timers that cycle through when we are gone. To say this is an upgrade is an understatement. Super easy way to control one’s interior illumination when not at home. Being able to control from my phone is a total game changer for feeling safe away from home.

I love using the Smart technology That is available to use in my home It is very convenient and easy to Use. This device is no exception. The set is very easy to install and The directions are easy to read and Understand. They explain each Step perfectly. I live being able to Dim my lights and turn them on and Off with the use of my cell phone. This system is great and I would Recommend it to evrryone who is looking for an easy system that you Can install yourself and then sit Back and enjoy the benefits it Provides.

These are very nice. The design to either turn all the way on/ off, or separately dim is a cool feature. Our previous switches had a physical slider and that's just one more moving part to break. These don't have that so less wear. I like having control with both Alexa and the phone app. You can set schedules and routines to control the lights. Very nice feature. I've used the phone app to freak out my family by turning off the lights from far away. The instructions were a little weird at first but the videos help. I don't think I'll use the remote as much but I do have one by my desk. The block that gets plugged into the router was easy enough to do as well. Would rather that be wireless but it is what it is. It works well. Overall we're very satisfied.
