Q: I want to confirm use on wood surfaces as my sofa has a wooden edge & legs. Will this damage/discolor wood surfaces, since it is not a soft surface? I can't find it mentioned in the description.

I've tried both the Tide and Clorox brand fabric sanitizers, and I find that Lysol works the best in the lavender scent. The lavender is only overpowering upon initial spray, but then it dissipates. I have two large air purifiers in my bedroom, which clears out the scents in minutes. Meanwhile, my fabrics (which I spray in my bedroom) are sanitized. I found the Lysol brand to leave a thick residue, and I believe the Clorox brand stains fabrics. So I trust Lysol over the other two brands. I'd highly recommend this one. It would be nice, however, for Lysol to make one that is scent-free, for those with impaired, long-Covid-related, or otherwise sensitive olfactory senses.

Hard to spray with one hand. Required me to press down with two hands. Strong, over-powering, toxic smell. Hard to breathe when you spray this. Also careful where you spray this. It says upholstery but if it caused a rash on my skin.

Are usually try to steer clear of artificial contents of anything like a spray or cleaning products. But I needed something to disinfect my sofa. So I got this. And I was very pleasantly surprised that the aroma was not overwhelming. It was rather subtle and not at all irritating. That’s unusual for this type of product with me. I will say that the smell of it stuck around for about 36 to 48 hours after initial application, but it was still fine to sit on the sofa during that time. It didn’t irritate me at all.
