Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner cleans, disinfects and removes the toughest stains in seconds. The thick formula sticks to the bowl for better cleaning. Lysol liquid toilet bowl cleaner kills 99.9% of viruses & bacteria with complete clean power. The angled bottle targets hard-to-reach areas, including under the rim, to leave your entire toilet bowl sparkling clean, deodorized and disinfected. To clean and disinfect/sanitize: Flush toilet before cleaning. Apply 4 oz. to coat the bowl including under the rim. Do not close lid. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes and then brush entire bowl to wet surfaces thoroughly, including under the rim, and flush. Rinse brush in fresh water after use. Repeat if necessary

This had been my go-to toilet bowl cleaner. When it was unscented. It's very hard to find one without added synthetic fragrance. This was the only one I was reliably able to find in the past. It now comes scented only. I forgot the name of the fragrance marketed on the bottle now, maybe spring rain or something like that. It makes me ill. Frankly, I don't understand why so many consumers want these artificial fragrances that only worsen bad odors. You need to clean effectively to get rid of odors not cover them up.
Did not clean the ring around toilet. I let it sit 20 minutes, scrubbed with brush. Generic worked just as good.

For severe stains, if possible, remove water from bowl first. Let soak for 15 minutes- Do not close lid. Follow cleaning directions and repeat if necessary. We hope this information helps! The efficiency of this product is unbelievable. We've had stains on one of our toilets that we've spent years of elbow grease and various products trying to get off. Even concentrated bleach wasn't working on it, so we started to assume that the porcelain finish has worn off. I tried this product as a last ditch effort before buying a whole new toilet, because of the reviews I had read. Believe all of the hype! I let this product sit on the stains for about 20 minutes and when I came back, they were literally melting off. I didn't even need to use a brush to scrub them -- they were coming off with just splashes of water. So insane. I was so overly excited about it that I went around gushing to everyone about how cool this product is lol. Worth every penny! They've made me a loyal customer for life after this experience.

I know it says toilet bowl cleaner BUT I saw someone use it for in between the grout in the shower and on the caulking to get it white. IT WORKS. I run the spout along the areas of the grout that need some brightening and I leave it alone for about 20 mins and it a big difference.
