A: It is their "gold" blend. Similar to Yorkshire Gold, Barry's Gold, or other "gold" blend black teas. Nice breakfast style tea that I find to be smooth and handles milk/cream.

Gold Blend, tasty! with a bonus of decoration
Gold Blend is the go-to black tea and M&S in the UK. It's a great way to get some. The lights on these tins are easy to turn on and off with the switch on the bottom. I do agree that the label is annoying as a gift but the recipient can take it off. You have to pry off the bottom which is really the lid. I put my tea in an air tight baggie or canister, this tin is not for storing your tea, it's for decoration. They do bend so better from the store

Collectible and makes a great gift
These houses are rather delicate tin and I would not order online. Having said that, I bought them in store and they are quite pretty. The packaging is frustrating and takes some time. The fact that the light inside cannot be replaced (with the exception of being a little creative) is another flaw. Despite all that, the cookies are fresh and buttery and the cons don’t outweigh the pros in my opinion. One star off for execution but four stars for overall presentation.

Stop selling these online
There is a reason M&S don't sell these online back home: because they are easily damaged in shipment. The box was compactly packed, but because these tins had zero protection they got damaged. It's such a huge amount of waste Target are going through having to replace or take these returns. They must be losing their profits on them. Either hire and train people to pack properly, or stop offering them online. Oh yes, and the huge sticker on them is doubly outrageous!!

I ordered four of these for gifts. They were shipped without any packaging material so all four are dented. I cannot in good conscience give these as intended. If they had arrived intact, they would make cute inexpensive presents. Now I have to figure out a way to return them.

I'm not sure who would need instructions on how to open it. They've always opened from bottom, my young grandchildren have always figured that out. There is not multiple lights in one, it's one light...it's not gonna ALL light up until you remove the contents. But really, why the huge warning labels this year? Yes, you can take the labels off without damaging the tin, it just takes patience. I buy multiple of the different sizes and tins they have to give as stocking stuffers for the past 3 years to grandchildren, my daughter and daughters-in-law. They all love them. It's now a tradition for me to buy M&S at Christmas.

Love the product. Such a beautiful, fun item at a great price. Was so disappointed in how it was shipped. I ordered 6 and they were just put in a box with no individual packing (just a piece of brown paper layed on top), so when they arrived they had banged against each other. 4/6 were damaged and had to be reorderded. The next batch of four came the same way, in a box with no individual packing. 1/4 were damaged. I am very disappointed at Target's lack of care in shipping fragile items. I would not recommend ordering this item to be shipped. It's too bad because the item itself is a good value.
