MAC Fix + Stayover Primer - Ulta Beauty

This was recommended to me by a prestige specialist in store and I believed her because her makeup was AH MAZING however when i got home and started using it the spray was so crazy and uneven I actually ended up ruining part if my nakeuo because it just unnecessarily soaked parts of my face. For a high end product you would think they wouid make sure it applies evenly.

Im a setting spray snob, I love the CT airbrush spray, one size, and the og skindinavia ones( the company that formulated urban decays). This gives a soft focus to my skin. Im oily and my tzone got shiny after about 3-4 hours but otherwise my makeup was flawless all thru a 12 hour busy day in a very humid climate. Excellent mist with no big droplets. Love that their is no alcohol in this formula, outpeforms many that do. Definitely earned a spot in my rotation and in my pro kit!

This setting spray is amazing. It locks in my makeup for 24 hours with ZERO transfer. It also feels hydrating and clean, and not sticky like some other brands. Best one on the market! This will be a permanent staple in my MAC makeup collection.

I have a very oily t-zone. This spray doesn't keep my t-zone from getting oily or the makeup from transferring. Especially on hot days, it's lasting power wears off faster. However I still give it 4 stars because it does keep my makeup from separating and keeps me from looking cakey when I touch up with powder.

The spray on this is too heavy. It should be a mist and this leaves your face with wet puddles. Have to hold it super far from your face to even use it.

I got recommended this product in store so I bought it. I was excited to try it out but it leaks product all over itself, the sprayer squirts not mists like how I like setting sprays to be, and it squirts in droplets. sorely disappointed.

Leaves a glowy and long lasting finish on top of your makeup, can still powder over if needed.

Frequently order this item. Only challenge ai have noticed with the last few bottles is that the spray mist tends to "spit" and isn't a clean application even when adjusting distance. Packaging might need some work, but product is great!

Ive been testing this setting spray for months after getting it on sale and seeing all the positive reviews. First of all, im not a fan of the nozzle. It's not the worst but it's def not the best. It's a little more spitty than misty so I feel like I have to use more to get an even amount distributed. Of course, that just leaves me with super wet makeup that doesnt dry down well. Ive also tried spraying it on my face and then lightly tapping my face with a makeup sponge to absorb the excess spray and to help press it into my skin. It ended up lifting my makeup, my cream products were gone. Ive tried using it in between steps to help melt the products together but it takes too long to dry down and when i go on top with the next layer of makeup, it gets suuuuper patchy and it pills!!! I've also worn this with a face mask and it pilled all over my cheeks. Tiny little balls, ugh gross. I've never experienced pilling before and this is the only product that changed that. I have half a bottle left and i hate to waste it but I cannot for the life of me get it to work. I'm going back to Charlotte Tilbury

On my second bottle and I do really think its GREAT! However, I realized it leaves me quite glowy - I ALWAYS need to set again with light pressed powder in the middle of the face after applying to get my preferred finish (natural satin but not dewy/super glowy). I suppose its from the lack of alcohol, but either way, its a great product!

I wanted to like this because I've been a MAC fanatic since high school (20+ yrs). Ive been trying other brands for finishing spray but someone suggested I go baack to MAC. Maybe its the size bottle i have, or maybe it a actually just a bad bottle…but either way-I get one good spray and the next spray attempt just leaks down the bottle and in my hand. I looked inside the bottle to make sure there wasnt anything blocking the pump, and nope, just a bad sprayer. I attempted this several days and times consecutively and its the same each time. Looked up other reviews on MACs website and its the same issue. Due better, MAC!!

Had a really difficult day that came with a lot of tears. This did not hold makeup in place. At. All.

I spray on my face or mix with makeup and it lasts all day

I work 12 hour shifts and my make up stays on throughout it all. It's the best setting spray I have ever used. I would definitely recommend. It doesnt break me out or anything. I would definitely recommend. I do use MAC power or foundation so I can't really speak to how it works with other foundations.

I LOVE this setting spray! I recently got back from doing the Princess Half Marathon weekend and this kept my make up in place during a 5k, 10k AND a half marathon in Disney! Highly recommend!

This setting spray is my new go to. I used to be an urban decay setting spray fan. But I'm so glad I took a chance and decided to try something new!!!! It's good stuff

This should not be on shelves. Do not use especially if pregnant. Ingredients are harmful, hormone disruptors, and pollutants.

Love this product doesn't leave your face feeling stiff. Helps my makeup stay on all day i only have one issue and maybe it's just my pump it leaks all around the top. I will repurchase perfect product to seal in my other MAC products.
