One of my favorite foundations. Looks really natural, buildable with good coverage, and I love the mattifying power. As someone with oily skin, I prefer this foundation over a lot of others that I've tried. And no breaking out with this one!

After not ordering in a year decided to reorder again. Got the same shade I have always gotten....and the shade is all wrong now. Kinda sad now, because now I have to find my shade again.

I used to be a NW15, which matched my skin tone perfectly. Now, NW15 is nowhere near my skin tone. The Ulta associate told me that MAC updated their packaging, along with the product. Be aware that you might need a shade match when purchasing.

I've been using Max since 2012 and while I still love this foundation a ton and I'm glad to have the pump included now it's just not the same. It doesn't offer the same coverage however despite its flaws after trying several other product lines it is still my go to for now

Highly disappointed with this new formula. It has a pump now, which I thought might be a good thing, but it's not. There's no cap on the pump so foundation gets everywhere and creates a mess! The foundation itself….huge fail! It's completely different to the original and not in a good way. It doesn't stay on, it creates a greasy, splotchy, chalky finish that does not look good. I've had drugstore foundations that look better than this. I will not be buying this foundation anymore, the bottle I purchased was returned.

The coverage is uneven, oily, creases, and it transfers on whatever comed into contact with it. If tranfer was the only problem, I would use a setting spray like All Nighter, but it is not the only problem. Returning this ASAP.

Ive always had an issue with the old formula being a little too drying even though I have combo skin. SInce trying this new formula I havent ran into the previous issues I had with the old formula. I do use the hydrating primer from MAC too and set it with the mineralized powder and it gives the perfect skin I'm going for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this foundation. This is my first time trying a MAC product and I now understand why MAC is many makeup artists go-to. This product matched my skin tone so well and I got so many compliments on how good it looked on my skin. I loved it so much, I even used it on my wedding day. The finish is so luminous and it has a nice medium coverage that is buildable if you are looking for full coverage.

This used to be my holy grail. I was loyal to it for close to 10 years. Nothing else could touch it. But I noticed with the past few bottles I've purchased, it just doesn't sit right on my face. I thought it was my skin texture changing because it was settling into my fine lines, clings to dry patches, oily in some, and separates like CRAZY, where as before, it was flawless. But then I noticed everyone on here mentioning the change in formulation and it makes sense now. I'm almost due for a new bottle of foundation but unfortunately will be looking into other products because it's not worth the price anymore.

There so many things I have to say about this foundation. And I would be comparing this to other bestseller high end foundations. My makeup and skin has never been better since I started using this foundation. This is the best foundation I have ever used. It has sun protections + skincare. My skin has never looked as beautiful as it has with foundation. You only need one pump and it's completely foolproof. Lasts day to night
