The shades are so messed up with this new formula, haven't found the PERFECT match but found a workable one. That said, this formula is MUCH better at doing what it says. Yes it creates more loose powder when you grab product with your brush, but I don't find my face to be nearly as oily at the end of the day. With the old formula I would need to blot my face after 4-5 hours daily. I no longer need to do that. It is also a more build-able formula so I dont look as caked up as before. All in all I like it a lot, just need to find that perfect shade.
I would buy this again.

Really stays on all day. I am able to apply more for full coverage on areas where I want it. Super lightweight feel.

I have been using the original formula of this for years and have since purchased the new formula. While the product is still great (Aside from the color formulas completely changing and needing to be re-color matched) the product is not lasting as it previously would. It used to last 4-5 months and the new formula lasted me 6 weeks.
Not satisfied.

This formula runs out in less than a month. Never was like that with the old formula. It’s like dust.comes up so easily and actually is not better for oil. Bring back the original formula!!! Also took away C7. I e been using that for 20 years.
Bummer

I have been using this same color and product for 15 years. I thought they just changed the compact packaging but the entire formula was changed! My face broke out and the color is darker. I’m out $43 and I don’t think I can return it now. On the search for a new product.
Hate the reformulation

I've used this for YEARS and loved it, but it's been reformulated and it's no longer any good. NW30 is now way more yellow and is no longer a match for my skin tone. In addition, it's not nearly as oil absorbent as the old version. Please bring back the old version!

I have used this product for over 12 years, since I started wearing makeup. Unfortunately I will not be purchasing again. M.A.C. changed the formula and it is no where near similar to the old formula. It does not provide the same coverage, and the product runs out way faster than the previous formula. Very unfortunate..
Product shrinkflation

Ive been buying studio fix for years and this new line of it is a joke. It comes with barely any powder foundation. The old line would last me months and this new one is almost out after just one month. Shrinkflation to the maximum. So upsetting.
Not the same

They changed the line and the colors are way different. My biggest complaint is it lasts like 1 month. The other lasted me at least a couple. Super bummed, but ill be finding a different product.

I have been buying this item for approx 2 decades. I purchased some online in May and recently went to use it and knew the color wasn't N5, so I called MAC because I thought the company had packaged them incorrectly. MAC told me N5 is now NW20. They told me if you go to their website, it will tell you if you wore N5, your best shade match is now NW20. This isn't the only color that changed letters/numbers. ULTA on your website under this product please put it in bold letters that the letters/numbers of items has changed. FYI: the old item was 0.52 oz and now it's 0.42 oz. I love ULTA and I'm assuming they weren't notified of these changes.
Love it!

They really should've notified everyone to say that it is a new color scheme as well as new packaging. Not only that my compacts used to last me a couple months and this one barely lasts me a month and a half so I'm going through it way faster, which is weird because I'm not wearing it anymore than I ever have. If anything I've been trying to wear it less because I keep seeing how much of it goes away every time I use it. I have been using this Studio fix foundation plus powder for literally 20 years and for them to switch it up like this is so stupid. Really not a fan almost makes me want to change brands and that feels crazy.

Terrible change to a MAC product that I have been using for over 15 years maybe even 20. The refillable cartridge kept coming out causing it to fall on the floor and break after only using it a few times. I do not recommend.
Still my go-to

Yes, the shades changed. Re-check your shades - as I went from my original shade to a few shades lighter than before and it’s perfect. Yes, it’s a little cakey (always has been for me since 2016) but the coverage is about 8/10 now with nothing else on for me. I still prefer it because no other powder foundation has compared. Yes it’s a little less pigmented, but it still gets the job done. Still my go to, but definitely re-check your shades.

New formulation is trash, the colors don't match and it doesn't look natural, I've been using this product for many years but now I'm looking for a different brand that works the way the old formulation did.

Mac changed their formula and therefore the shades changed. I did not know this as Target makes no mention of it on their site, so I ordered the shade I have worn for 10 years. When it came in, it looked too dark but I verified it was the right shade and swatched it on my skin. Nope. Way too dark. So I verified targets return policy, packed it up carefully, and returned the obviously defective product to target. Imagine my surprise when they kept the item and declined my refund! I could have at least sold it on eBay or something but now I’m out $40. There is not even an option to contact them to discuss or dispute their decision. I am not happy. After this is when I went on Mac’s website to discover the shades had changed and they have a convenient chart to tell you what your new shade is based on your old shade. So I ordered from them. Love the product, not happy with Target at all.
Hate it!!

MAC's website states "If you wore NW10, your best shade match is still NW10 in the NEW Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation."—well, that was a lie. New shade is significantly darker and looks orange on me. Waste of money.
