Terrible change to a MAC product that I have been using for over 15 years maybe even 20. The refillable cartridge kept coming out causing it to fall on the floor and break after only using it a few times. I do not recommend.

Yes, the shades changed. Re-check your shades - as I went from my original shade to a few shades lighter than before and it’s perfect. Yes, it’s a little cakey (always has been for me since 2016) but the coverage is about 8/10 now with nothing else on for me. I still prefer it because no other powder foundation has compared. Yes it’s a little less pigmented, but it still gets the job done. Still my go to, but definitely re-check your shades.

Mac changed their formula and therefore the shades changed. I did not know this as Target makes no mention of it on their site, so I ordered the shade I have worn for 10 years. When it came in, it looked too dark but I verified it was the right shade and swatched it on my skin. Nope. Way too dark. So I verified targets return policy, packed it up carefully, and returned the obviously defective product to target. Imagine my surprise when they kept the item and declined my refund! I could have at least sold it on eBay or something but now I’m out $40. There is not even an option to contact them to discuss or dispute their decision. I am not happy. After this is when I went on Mac’s website to discover the shades had changed and they have a convenient chart to tell you what your new shade is based on your old shade. So I ordered from them. Love the product, not happy with Target at all.

I love this powder foundation. I've been using it for several months now and it's become one of my faves. I'm very oily and this does a good job of keeping the oil at bay for most of the day. And the color match was perfect! Buildable coverage is also a plus!

Been using studio fix powder for more than 10 years, and this new version is terrible. Promoted to be longer lasting and better than old version… Definitely not better than the old formula for sure. Barely lasts a week, color is way too dark, and doesn’t offer the same amount of coverage or look. Hoping something changes or might need to find a new option elsewhere.

Great coverage. Doesn't feel like I have makeup on. But, the product is very powdery and therefore messy. I won't buy again.

I used to use MAC a few years back but developed sensitive skin and couldn't use talc products anymore. Fast forward to yesterday and an Ulta associate told me about the recirculation so I let her shade match me. I was surprised at the shade jump but its whatever. I did a patch test and wire it for hours without any reaction at all. Im glad companies are finally starting to take that skin irritant out of cosmetics, it makes it better for sensitive skin folks. Now if they could just do it to their blush and eyeshadow I'd be a devote user again.

I have been using this for decades and love love love it. It does a great job of spot concealing uneven skin tones, which uis how I use it. I ordered my usual color and it arrived a very different color. Apparently MAC changed the colors--beware if you are planning on ordering your usual color. Mac didn't just change the colors, they no longer make the color I used so I had to start from scratch to find a match. Ulta was great about helping me find the new right color and exchanging it for me. I was a little disappointed in MAC for keeping the same codes but switching out the colors. Not a product function issue, but a customer hassle one.

Bring back the talc! This formulation is not it. The original covered better, wasn't as powdery, and would last me for months. I've already hit pan within 2 weeks. Not a fan!

The foundation is great as usual, but Mac just did a re-packaging. The shade was way off and very orange so I had to end up getting a different color and the girl had to re-color match me. If you used to use NC 40 I recommend changing to N5.
