Q: Is this product similar to the Tower 28 facial spray?

submitted by Ady - 3 months ago
  • A: At Magic Molecule, it’s our mission to make high-quality hypochlorous acid accessible to everyone at an affordable price. Many skin care enthusiasts are discovering the magic of hypochlorous acid, and we’ve seen an explosion of new products emerge in the marketplace; however, not all hypochlorous acid is created equal(!!) Here’s how Magic Molecule stands out: FDA-clearance: Magic Molecule is one of the only FDA-cleared hypochlorous acid solutions available without a prescription. The FDA requires that EVERY batch be rigorously tested for purity, safety and stability. Up to 24 months of shelf life: It's true — hypochlorous acid can quickly degrade to simple salt water if not properly stabilized. Magic Molecule's patented process ensures a stable, safe solution for the life of the product. Non-FDA products (even the fancier, expensive brands) are not bound by the same rules, so may lose efficacy much faster. How do you know? Check the stamped expiration date on the bottom — if there isn’t a date, it may be no longer effective.

Q: Does this spray bleach or discolor clothes?

submitted by BD - 4 months ago
  • A: Magic Molecule is not known to discolor fabrics or soft surfaces. However, in extremely rare cases, slight discoloration is possible. It is an uncommon occurrence that may arise in conjunction with rare imported dyes used on some fabrics.

    This stuff is amazing!

I have red sun damage on my chest and every cream I use to try and treat it ends up giving me a prickly heat type rash with small red bumps on my lower neck. I've tried almost everything and, not only did this spray get rid of the rash, a few spritzes of this before my creams and I haven't had one since. This will definitely be a stable from now on.

    Amazing!!

Honestly I was skeptical after all the hype around this product, but it TRULY helps with inflammation. I have used it after shaving to avoid itchiness, on piercings to make sure they stay clean, on areas of chaffing that are red and irritated, and more.

    Does “magic” to my skin

I’ve been using this spray almost every day the past couple months (on my 3rd big bottle). And it simplified my skincare routine! No more redness, little white pus-filled pimples, and it calms down any sensitivity. Also, use it on scratches and essentially any body part externally. Now, im a loyal subscriber to this simple yet effective product 🫶🏻

Relieves irritation from rash and abrasion discomfort

Our Air Conditioner went out on July 4th. We finally got it fixed July 24th. During that time I developed a heat rash. I accidentally scratched the patch on my neck in my sleep. Fortunately, I have a bottle of Magic Molecule Antimicrobial Spray. It felt soothing on the abrasion on my neck. After use, the area felt calm and less irritated.

    Honest

Definitely helped my skin; I have oily, acne prone skin. However, it does contain a certain scent that I wasn’t particularly fond of. It’s nothing potent, but for my sensitive nose it was bothersome at times.

Flimsy packaging led to loss of product

I have used Magic Molecule before, and enjoyed it. I could not tell how much it was helping my skin on its own, but I enjoyed the step in my routine because it felt refreshing, and layering it with my moisturizer helped hydrate my skin better. Unfortunately, they seemed to have changed the packaging since the last time I purchased. The plastic bottles are much thinner/more flexible now. When I was trying to remove the cap off the sprayer, it was quite hard to get off, so hard that I ended up basically ripping the top of the sprayer in half before the cap came off. I ended up losing a large portion of the bottle, and with the severely cracked top it is now difficult to store. Given the price I am really disappointed how much product I lost.

    40 something female with Roseaca

I’m in my 40’s with Roseaca and am highly allergic to bites, especially mosquitoes. I have a bottle in my kitchen, all bathrooms and cars. It literally does it all. Stopped using my bougie toner and switched to magic molecule. I’ve given it as gifts, to family and friends and it’s been a lifesaver to so many. Your child gets cut, spray it. Dog has itchy paws, spray it. Husband refuses to use spf and gets a little bit of sun that’s red and painful, spray it. If they sold this in a gallon size I’d be the first buyer. Buy it, you will not regret it.

Unfortunately the white bottle allows breakdown at

To make hyperchloride effective, it has to be in a bottle that blocks UV light the white bottle does not this goes from 160 ppm which is not even the most powerful debt FDA recommends less than 125 ppm after only three weeks you’re wasting your money on water
