Like the title says, it's a bit on a sweet side for me. If you like extra sweetness, you'll probably enjoy it. But, for me, it borders a bit on sickly sweet.

Not as sweet as I would like. Wanted something closer to Captain Crunch Cerial.

Yes it’s birthday cake flavored. No you don’t have to eat it on your birthday! In fact everyday is a birthday and a celebration on its own when you eat this!!! It sings for you happy birthday by the way! And rainbow sprinkles fall from the sky when you eat it .. and little stars with faces congratulate you for eating this cereal!! Like how magical is this whole experience!!!!

Ohhhh the memories that flooded back... eating cereal at the kitchen table with my dad sitting across from me as we'd laugh, joke, or watch cartoons. Really wasn't expecting that from all 3 of the cereals I tasted. Good stuff right there!

My kids like this flavor in any form. I live that it’s got low sugar and more protein. Great choice for breakfast while the kids think it’s a treat.

I received this as a birthday present and it is an extremely tasty cereal. I highly recommend it.

I buy the bundle for my son. He's a disabled adult who lives with me and has to be on a low-carb, sugar-free diet. One thing he really, really struggled with was breakfast-- couldn't eat breads or waffles or pancakes anymore; he's a picky eater so he wasn't down with non-breakfast foods like tuna or chicken. You can eat eggs only so often in the morning... he really missed cereals though, not just because he used to enjoy them but because it's something he could grab himself and feel independent, didn't have to wait for someone else to help fix for him. So I started getting him Magic Spoon bundle, and it's really helped him maintain his diet because it makes him feel not so restricted. He eats it in the mornings w/either sugar-free chocolate milk or unsweetened almond milk; he sprinkles them on our home-made yogurt, or sometimes just has some like candy when watching a movie. He pretty much loves the flavors he's tried so far and wants to rate them all 5/5.

I use Magic Spoon as a meal replacement because, as a diabetic, I don’t have a sugar spike with it, and it helps me maintain my A1C in proper levels

The flavor is there, it's just very weak, each box has some else in them which is overpowering the cereals intended flavor. What are you using to make up the structure of the cereal itself? Because I can tell it's not very tasteful, despite the flavoring you are adding to it. It makes me want to cancel my subscription. This is not my first review, is anybody paying attention? Is this being kept from gabi and greg's attention. Hello, knock knock, anybody home? There are other cereal manufacturers whose unhealthy cereals taste better than yours. You claim a healthy tasting cereal, but you've obviously missed the target, sorry guys, can't continue supporting this product as is.

The taste of the cereal took me back to my earlier birthdays. Really enjoyed it. Wished I had ordered more of it.

It was a great flavor. I ordered another one. I am a diabetic, and this is the only cereal I can eat that does not raise my blood sugar little pricey but all in all it’s a great product.

It's been very hard to find a healthy cereal my grandkids and even adult kids would try let alone like. This Birthday Cake Cereal a definitely a winner.

Sweet! Not in a bad way, but in a "can't handle it every morning" kind of way. I always use the leftover oat milk from my morning MS cereal in my coffee, and this one adds such a nice flavor to it! Well, most do, but I definitely recommend trying it!

Tastes pleasant but bland. I was expecting a more Vanilla-like flavor, but an honest effort. Birthday cakes can taste lot a lot of things.

Birthday Cake tastes great, but it's a little sweeter tasting than the others. Cocoa is my favorite, chocolate chip cookie is next, and Birthday cake is third.Those who don't like things too sweet may not enjoy this cereal so much. It does taste something like birthday cake. it's not quite THAT sweet, of course, but it's still more noticeable than the others.As always, they're a bit expensive and they get stuck in your teeth for a bit, but they're delicious and a great way to start the day. Well, for me anyway.
